Cautions for poor customer service I bought a new RAV4 Hybrid in June 2017. I researched and decided on a reasonable price for the car and a sales person with Sherwood Park contacted me I bought a new RAV4 Hybrid in June 2017. I researched and decided on a reasonable price for the car and a sales person with Sherwood Park contacted me back on it. I also contacted other Toyota dealers in Edmonton. Sherwood Park gave me a slightly better price than Edmonton dealerships and sweet talked me, making it seem as if they could and would do anything to sell the car. We finally agreed on the price and signed a contract, afterwards, their attitude completely changed. A couple of days later the sales person called me demanding for me to pay extra to transfer the car with the colour I want from another dealership, I have to choose different colour I did not really like, or I have to wait 3 months to get the car from manufacturer. So, I chose the colour that was not very preferred. Then I waited another week to get the car. I had to wait more than 2 hours in the dealership when I could finally pick up the car because they did not keep the appointment time. I had to personally find a salesperson to show me how to operate the car and explain the functions it had because he left only after explaining the Bluetooth pairing. They at least gave me a present, but it must have been leftovers from last year because a 2016 diary was included. After the pre-sales agreement was signed they did not provide me even the most basic customer care or service. If I knew this dealership was like this, I would not have bought a car here. I am ashamed whenever I see my vehicle plate surrounded by the Sherwood Park Toyota sign, because of the disappointing service. I would not recommend Sherwood Park Toyota to anybody else unless you want to pay EXTRA for the good customer service. At Sherwood Park Toyota, it seems that if you are receiving adequate customer service you are paying extra for it on top of the car price, please keep this in mind. More

Easiest Purchase I've Made I came to look at a used truck I was interested in and Dave introduced himself. He was social and I enjoyed our conversations not related to truck buy I came to look at a used truck I was interested in and Dave introduced himself. He was social and I enjoyed our conversations not related to truck buying during the test drive. We quickly developed a rapport, which made the negotiation process enjoyable. I had done my research and knew the value of my trade, Dave exceeded it. We were very close on price and both Dave and his sales manager Paul negotiated fairly. In the end, I made the purchase without looking at a second truck at another dealership because Dave and Paul earned my respect and my business. Not My Choice Anymore or Ever Again I was a loyal Sherwood Park Toyota customer from the moment I bought my vehicle there 5 years ago. Every single service requirement was completed at I was a loyal Sherwood Park Toyota customer from the moment I bought my vehicle there 5 years ago. Every single service requirement was completed at Sherwood Park Toyota from the moment I bought the vehicle. Unfortunately, 5 years later and with a single car payment left, my vehicle became a nightmare of repairs, and of course everything is falling apart as soon as the warranties all expired. Things are falling apart that they say they have never seen happen before. Over the years and including the massive repairs I had to complete just in the last 2 months I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Sherwood Park Toyota. I have even more urgent repairs that need to be completed that will cost thousands more. When I was booking the appointment to complete these repairs that would take at least 2 days, I asked if they could help me get back to the vehicle I had arranged to borrow while my car was in for repairs. Due to the timing of the repairs I had no friends or family who could drive the second vehicle/pick me up. I wanted to be sure I had a way to get to my borrowed vehicle because I knew it was a bit further than their shuttle would usually go (approx. 35 minute drive one way to a small community on the outskirts of Edmonton. I was hoping for a bit of the "top notch" customer service they say they provide, especially after I had been such a loyal customer for so many years and spent so much money there. Sadly, I was completely denied without any attempt to even partially help. They flat out told me I should find another dealership. The recent experiences I have had with Sherwood Park Toyota and the vehicle I bought have been overwhelmingly disappointing to say the least. They were good when all was needed was an oil change. As soon as my vehicle turned out to be less than dependable and service requirements increased, they failed to deliver on their promise to provide community and quality before profits. I will never again give Sherwood Park Toyota my business and I will never buy a Toyota vehicle again. More
