Over the years, the service was consistently good—until my most recent visit. My truck needed a major repair due to a leaking driver-side cam tower. Instead of proactively checking whether the repair could be covered under my Extended Care Protection (ECP), the service team gave me a full repair estimate. Only after I contacted Toyota Canada myself and pushed the issue with the service department did they agree to process the repair under the ECP. What’s more frustrating is that service management didn’t respond to multiple inquiries regarding this issue. For a dealership I had trusted and returned to for years, this was a major letdown. This experience did not reflect the customer-focused service I had come to expect. Disappointed and will not return. More
We purchased our Toyota from this dealership 5 years ago and was Sherwood Park's customer till the posting of this review(who used to get all the services for our car from them). We expected at least some level of customer care, but our recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Our car alarm started going off at full volume in the middle of the night, disturbing our neighbours and cops also alerted to this. We disconnected the red wire temporarily from the battery when the cops told us to get rid of this issue. We repeatedly called the service department, explained the urgency, and requested an earlier appointment. Despite making it clear that the situation was chaotic and pressing, they refused to accommodate us — the earliest they offered was September 10 when we checked online there was availability of 5 September (like seriously, you are intentionally not ready to give us a priority). They apparently told us that they can direct us to disconnect it but then when we questioned if they would be responsible for any other damage due to this they simply refused. When we reached out directly to the ownership we were told that either the owner or general manager will contact us, there was no response at all. By contrast, another Toyota agency immediately understood the seriousness of the issue (they are literally giving us updates on regular basis since dropping our car there) and gave us an appointment right away, showing us what real customer service looks like. It’s frustrating and disappointing that the dealership we trusted to buy our car from treated us with such indifference during a stressful situation. They were basically saying we care about the money you give when you come but if you are expecting us to look after you as loyal customers that is not a thing in our book. I would also like to mention that she is one of the senior member, you can look her up on website and she had definitely spread a word directing everyone not to answer ours calls, otherwise how come having a fleet of numerous people not a single call was returned. She doesn't care at all and also not about her staff especially who sold the car to us and our friends (he also tried his best to get us accommodated on priority basis). Based on this experience, I would strongly urge others to think carefully before relying on this location for service. Still hoping to get the call from them to give the whole story and people involved. Will update this post if we will hear from them, if it is not edited that means they DON’T CARE. More
This dealership will mislead you in anyway they can to make a sale! First time buying a new car in 2018, thought it was pretty good, after dealing with there dishonesty for 7 years have I ever found out d make a sale! They sold me on a yearly protective spray coating which was 2300 dollars and has not been reapplied in 7 years, there service department put a dent in my trunk, i was told i had 4 years mateince included.... only had 2 years. Then I was bullied into buying and extended warranty package and told it was refundable, now I'm trying to get my rebate for it and am getting nothing but a run around! Nobody will answer the line or call me back! Don't use this dealership, it seems great until after you sign all the paperwork! More

Very disappointed with the finance experience. We were told we were buying a ceramic coating, but it turned out to be just standard paint protection. We were looking to trade in our truck for a Tundra. Our experience with Varun was extremely positive from the very beginning. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and responsive to all of our questions Our experience with Varun was extremely positive from the very beginning. We purchased our truck on Monday evening and picked it up on Wednesday, the 2 small issues were taken care of before we picked it up. Varun went through the options on the truck and paired our phone(s) to the truck for us. If you are shopping at Sherwood Toyota I would highly recommend working with Varun! More

I went to get a new starter fob. I expected to be in and out but was shocked when I was informed it was at least 1 hour. It took 3. When I drove away my front fender sensor was going I expected to be in and out but was shocked when I was informed it was at least 1 hour. It took 3. When I drove away my front fender sensor was going off when it wasn't prior to the appointment I wanted them to fix it but they said it wasn't their fault, said we have evident front end damage. This was true but that damage was there for 2 years with no sensor issues and they would have noted that damage during previous pre vehicle inspections before regular maintenance appointments. I left at least 6 messages for the service manager but never did get a call back. Two months later that sensor still randomly goes off. Once they got our $ for the $70000 Tundra we purchased we noticed the service just wasn't quality anymore. I will not ever buy a vehicle there again and don't recommend you do either. More
I took in my Toyota Rav 4 somewhat clean and washed and they returned my car covered in mud. Also there was no documentation of the service work done given to me.
