Beware of this fraud Dealership. I recently purchased a vehicle like almost 2 weeks ago and due to financial difficulties or family problems. I decided to take the car back to them. They treated me so badly Sales rep named Albin said they can offer me 51000$ for the car which I purchased for 68300$ . So 17300$ of Loss in less than 2 weeks is a big red flag. I got ripped off from them and worst sales rep ever. He took my financial situation as a positive point and told me that we will offer you this less amount. So customers or helping customers is not their goal abusing customers and treating them like stupid people and try to scam them is their motto. Complete rip off beware of this dealership and sales rep. More
Jekyll and Hyde service at this Dealership. Test drove one of their vehicles. Sat down with the sales Rep and worked out a price that both their Manager and Sales Rep agreed upon. Called back the next morning to let them know I would take the Vehicle. They informed me that the vehicle is no longer available and was pending financing on another buyer. You could tell something wasn’t right. We anonymously checked in with their online support and they noted that the vehicle was available and if we wanted to book a test drive. We then got a email from their Sales rep stating it was also available and if we wanted to test drive it. It was obvious, they were trying to renege on their original agreement. We already knew the vehicle was still available, so we decided to visit Sherwood Park Hyundai to have them honor their agreement. Brad, the Weekend Manager refused to honor the original agreement. He had the paperwork that showed the original quote, but stated it had no signature, so he wouldn’t accept it. Even though the Sales Rep was there to state that that price was correct. They could have even followed up with the Manager that approved that price. Brad is the face of what is wrong with used car dealerships. He had the paperwork, he had the Sales Rep, and had access to the Manager that approved this price, but he decided to treat this customer with disrespect and lies. However, Brad was honest enough to state that quotes on paperwork, verbals and handshakes are not worth anything to him. We even said we would listen to his counter. Even though I already shook on the original price. His insult was to raise the price by almost $3000 over our original agreed upon price. Thanks Brad, for teaching us that there are still people like you that exist in the ‘Used Car’ industry. I would never recommend this Dealership as long as people like Brad work there. More
I’m not sure the hiring standards for managers at this dealership but it must be pretty low. I dealt with Peter Kosson the service manager and my experience was awful. From the first time talking to him he did the bare minimum to assist. My engine seized on my 2018 hyundai tucson and I was informed by staff at Sherwood Nissan where I bought the vehicle that Sherwood Hyundai would be covering the vehicle under factory warranty. So I had my vehicle towed from Sherwood Nissan to Sherwood Hyundai where it sat for almost 2 weeks with nothing being done with it. I spoke with Peter on October 16, 2023 regarding a loaner vehicle or a rental vehicle and not only was he not helpful at all, I requested a follow up email with the information he provided which he said he would send. I never heard from him. On October 18th I sent in the requested paperwork to Sherwood Hyundai regarding previous maintenance on my vehicle and did not hear back. I was informed that it was being sent to Hyundai by Peter and it would take 5-10 business days to hear back. I followed up on October 27th with an email and recieved no answer. At this point my vehicle had been at Sherwood Hyundai for 10 days with no contact from anyone there. I called Sherwood Hyundai on October 30th and spoke to Peter who fed me false information multiple times. First he told me he had never spoken to me before, then he told me my paperwork had never been sent to Hyundai because there was “no point” sending it in because it was going to be denied. At this point my vehicle had sat at their dealership for almost 2 weeks while I waited for an answer that I was never going to get. Then he informed me that I had no extended warranty. All of this was false information. He also blamed me for never emailing his service advisor back. Which I did. Twice. When I threatened to leave a review on their service he all of a sudden found my warranty information and my submission to Hyundai and the emails that went unanswered. During our phone call Peter informed me that the engine seizing was my fault and claimed that I deserved to pay for ubers and have no vehicle because I did not take proper care of my vehicle (I got an oil change done and it was under 2000km and 3 months until it was due for another oil change so I’m not sure where the oil went that was put in it). Peter basically informed me he would not be helping and then gave me a quote for an engine that was a huge cost with huge kilometres. At this point I believe he did it on purpose with the way he was treating and disrespecting me. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m female or what but Peter Kosson should not be any kind of manager. His customer service skills are atrocious and he does an awful job at representing the dealership. The hiring process of their managers must not be pretty high. Peter did absolutely nothing to help an already stressful situation and actually added to it. I wish I could give this place 0 stars because that’s what they deserve. More

Bought a Genesis G90, its been nothing but issues with the brake pads which they are covering but still a pain, 3rd time in for same issue. I had to get the motor replaced in my 2016 Hyundai, it took 7 WEEKS for this to happen. I was told it would be 3 weeks. They had no consideration for the length of time I had to be without a vehicle, I d took 7 WEEKS for this to happen. I was told it would be 3 weeks. They had no consideration for the length of time I had to be without a vehicle, I don't live in town but work in the city, very inconvenient. Their response was "7 weeks is nothing, some vehicles have been here 6 months" - pretty bad advertising of their product. They were also horrible about returning phone calls. Impossible to get someone to return a phone call. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I came into this dealership looking to finance a vehicle, I made the care salesman I was working well aware of my anxiety on getting into financing etc again.. I call ahead of time and am told that “we went to clean your car, and when we were leaving the cleaning bay the garage door falls and smashes my back window, and messes up the back wiper.. I take a deep breath and am told they will get it fixed real quick.. fast forward three weeks.. within these three weeks I call, I text and get the same sales xx as always,” oh I dunno what’s going on, let me look into it and get back to you”…so finally! I get a call from Radu, a manager, tells me “everything looks great, car is good to go, come on down” I sigh some relief! Yay, ok family everybody in let’s go get dads new car… I show up, they bring the car out, I can CLEARLY see the damage STILL!! Clear as day, and the dents they made, looked like it was painted with white out!! Didn’t even match the colour of the car, and there’s a huge hole still in the chrome/plastic piece beside the bloody window! The “manager” was like” oh umm, ya, that should have been fixed”” I wonder if the part has been ordered or if we need to order it” I’m like”why the eff wasn’t it ordered with the rest of the pieces you needed to order ?!” I point at the dents “are you sure that wasn’t there before he asks?” No the dents were not there before!! Then he is like”well, do you want to just take the vehicle and we will call you when the parts arrive?” Like what game are you playing here?! And here iam three weeks in, one payment made already on a vehicle I have yet to drive and I’m still waiting..DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!! More

I came there looking to sell my car, which they pushed me to sell on the spot and said I had to leave it there - this was VICTOR ADEBIYI who was the manager for Blake Andersen. Obviously I had all my things still in the car - including a $150 wireless adapter (that is not available in Canada - had to buy in the States) and I asked specifically "can I come back the next day to clear my things". They said "sure no problem and you can pick up your cheque also". But guess what, the following sequence happened: 1. The owner didn't come the next day who had to sign the cheque - so I came yet another day later for it. 2. When I came to pick up the cheque and clear out my car, the very first thing that I did was check for my adapter as it's the most expensive thing I had. And lo and behold, to NOBODYS SURPRISE IT WAS MISSING. 3. Told it was "detailed" and that when it gets "detailed" - things are removed and that perhaps "it was probably put in a bucket somewhere, but the detailers have gone home already... But don't worry there will be a record of this regarding who and when it was done" 4. If they took out my stuff and put it in a bucket, how come SOME THINGS were put back in, but not the only thing that was actually worth anything? Already my suspicions were high. 5. They get back to me with "sorry we don't have any records of who or when the detailing was done"... xxx? 6. We can't reimburse anything for theft.... You are welcome to MAKE A POLICE COMPLAINT.... xxx....??? WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS THAT DEALS WITH LOTS OF MONEY DOESN'T KEEP RECORDS OR EVEN HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHECK SECURITY FOOTAGE??
