Service is terrible! Have had an ongoing issue with my 2009 Kia Rondo's brakes for over 2 years that all started with simple front pad replacement, after receiving the veh Have had an ongoing issue with my 2009 Kia Rondo's brakes for over 2 years that all started with simple front pad replacement, after receiving the vehicle back I noticed that something was off my only to discover one of the guide bolts holding the caliber on was missing...still things weren't quite right....sometimes the car would barely stop but after wasting weeks of my time the problem never really was rectified even after thousands of dollars in claims on my extended warranty.... They made us feel at times that it was all in our heads. The biggest problem with this place is that they don't LISTEN!!! I was astonished when the first time I took it in that they did not even remove the tires!!! I'm like this is a brake issue and you just run a code!!!??? I told them to inspect everything and get it fixed especially the master cylinder as this is what seemed to be the problem.... They assured me everything checked out and returned the vehicle to me... Fast forward 9 months and even though was still giving us issues we almost thought this is just the way the car is.... Had a fluid flush and brakes became even worse ( at a different Kia Dealership ).... Again explains what happened at Sherwood and that I thought it was the Master Cylinder which was CONFIRMED one day later!!!! I was pissed!!! If Sherwood listened to me so much time would not have been wasted! A similar thing happened when I first bought the car brand new as the radio would constantly cut out....I told them it seems like there may be a short internally between the antenna ( mounted on roof ) and the radio.... It took at least five trips to have this problem solved!!!! They even replied the radio before they determined that it was exactly what I told them to do. Bottom line these guys think you are an idiot that knows nothing about cars and always seems to look for the fastest easiest fix regardless of what you tell them. My experience with the other dealership has need 100 times better because they LISTEN TO ME!!! Sherwood Kia DOESN'T More

BE aware of what you are signing and make sure to put any conditions in writing prior to signing. It was first time car buying experience and i didn't know much about how the bill of sales works. A word saying I need my wife's approval is not good enough because nothing was indicated on Bill of sale. Finance manager Josh raised his voice and humiliated me as well. Even threatened me by using a word 'hostage' for my deposit. Salesman was pushy too. Do not ever sign anything on first visit. Make sure take all the info and walk out. Oh not to mention you are paying HIGH admin fee for cleaning car, one free oil change and hood deflector. You are forced to purchase these with admin fee as you can't option that out. More
Fantastic When I went into Sherwood Kia for a service appointment on my 2011 Kia Forte I did not expect to roll off the lot with a brand new 2014 Kia Optima...b When I went into Sherwood Kia for a service appointment on my 2011 Kia Forte I did not expect to roll off the lot with a brand new 2014 Kia Optima...but that's exactly what happened. I had initially sat down with Mineet to discuss my warranty options because when I bought by 2011 Forte it was used and the warranty on it was bare minimum. After talking for about half an hour about options Mineet introduced me to Shauna and we discussed new car options. The service and friendliness that I received from Shauna was outstanding...I've never had such great, honest, customer service before. She did not pressure me into anything, asked what I wanted, didn't push me into anything that I didn't want to get into at all. After speaking with Shauna for about an hour I had my 2011 Forte inspected for an appraisal and while that was happening I had the pleasure of meeting Doug, the Sales Manager. Doug was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure that I was getting a great upgrade, at a price that I could actually afford. After laying out the things that I needed to see in a new car, my budget, and what I expected...Doug showed me the 2014 Optima. I was at the dealership for a total of 5 and a half hours that day and met some incredible people all while getting set up with a great new car. I got the care package, a two way remote starter, winter tires, etc. and they were able to have everything ready and installed for me within 3 days of purchase. Purchase was finalized on the Friday after my initial meeting, and then the car was ready and available for pick up the following Monday evening. Shauna was extremely professional in ensuring that I knew the ins and outs of the new car, where everything goes, how everything works, including running through the most important sections of the manuals for me to read. The team was just incredible to deal with, no pressure, honest, helpful, understanding...basically did everything a customer wants out of a sales team when it comes to buying something...they gave me exactly what I wanted and more. I am very proud to have been able to deal with this dealership and these people and I will strongly recommend them to anyone interested in buying a new Kia or just interested in dealing with a dealership that CARES. I truly look forward to the days when I have to go in for a service because it will be like visiting family. More

We Feel Used and Lied To I bought a Forte from Sherwood Kia last year. Although I love my Forte, I have repeatedly regretted purchasing from Sherwood Kia. New Car sales, Use I bought a Forte from Sherwood Kia last year. Although I love my Forte, I have repeatedly regretted purchasing from Sherwood Kia. New Car sales, Used Car sales, Service, and general dealership coordination have all been atrocious. I will review Service separately. This review only addresses my bad experiences with sales. 1. Right from the start, the used car sales team was far too aggressive. From the salesman who chased us down while we started walking to the Nissan dealership next door, to the manager who seemed to use bullying tactics to close the sale and then later defend his dealership's poor service, the people were "not nice" to deal with. "Aggressive", "pushy" and "bullying" are the descriptors that continually come to mind. 2. Conditions of our used car purchase required the dealership to perform certain work on the car. In one case the work was not done well (if at all) leaving us to get it done ourselves. Admittedly, the dealership eventually paid for the work, but not for all of our time and inconvenience dealing with them repeatedly and for then getting the work done ourselves. In the other case, the dealership did put on new tires as required, but a VERY inexpensive poor brand of tire. One tire failed after only 7000 km of use. (the sales manager suggested it may well have been our fault.) Again, the dealership did eventually "make a deal" to try to remedy the situation, but it still cost us money and lots of time & many phone calls trying to get someone at the dealership to listen to us and to help. 3. DO NOT BELIEVE SHERWOOD KIA's PROMOTIONAL LITERATURE. Soon after buying the Forte, my husband responded to an email invitation to visit the new car sales department and receive a Walmart gift card. When we did so, there was no card! Just last month we received a promotional card in the mail stating (word for word from card) "RSVP by phone at (780)449-4499 to attend and receive a gas card valued at up to $500". We also received unsolicited marketing calls from a Sherwood Kia sales manager, also promoting this sale and confirming the free gas card if we attended. Foolishly, we did so. We RSVP'ed. We kept our appointment. Upon inquiring about the gas card, we were told that we could enter our name into A DRAW for the gas card. When we later sent an email about this misleading promotion to the manager in new car sales who phoned us, he DID NOT REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGE OUR EMAIL. Similarly, an email sent the the dealership's general manager was not acknowledged or replied to! I would like to balance this review with some good news, but at no time did I feel that the dealership performed well, nor did they try to serve us to our satisfaction. Frankly, I would be surprised if this dealership is still in business in several years. Sorry for the negative review, but this is exactly what we experienced. More
