A manager contacted me, and while speaking to me like a child in the most condescending way I’ve ever been spoken to by someone trying to obtain my business, he stated that what was promised before would not be met. It is very interesting the way Sherwood Ford speaks to their returning customers. More

One of the most stressful transactions you can go through is purchasing a new vehicle… there are so many horrible experiences and slime xxxxx out there. Not the case with Sherwood Ford. We previously purchased our 2011 F-150 from them and were delighted to return and find that ten years later the low pressure sales and ease of doing business was still there. Grant Shaw put us at ease from the very first interaction we had with him. No high pressure sales tactics, no “this truck might be gone in ten minutes, so you’d better buy now" xx that you get a lot of times from car sales people. Grant was a real pleasure to do business with. We had some pretty stringent requirements in these tough times when it is difficult to get precisely what you might want. He did a LOT of work trying to find us exactly the right truck to replace our old one. But most importantly, he was genuine. That was an extremely important factor for my wife to deal with someone, and Grant took her guard down right away, put her at ease and didn’t once try to pressure her (or me!) I can’t say enough good things about Grant, he was FANTASTIC to deal with. We had a couple of days worth of very candid conversations with Grant and he gave us the straight goods each time. He respected the fact that the first day we walked into the dealership and told him "we are NOT walking out with a new truck tonight because we intend to do our homework to be sure we get the truck that is best for us, whether that is a Ford, Chev, or Dodge." In the end, we came back to Grant for the transaction because he was the easiest to deal with and seemed to have OUR best interests at heart - not something we can say about any of the other dealerships we visited including other Ford dealerships in the Edmonton area. I saw the numerous awards on his desk and can say from our experience with him, he is deserving of *every* accolade he receives, and more. The highest form of praise I can give is to tell you that I would (and will) recommend my friends and family to him. More
