Great Escape Purchase Experience I had a very positive experience buying my brand new Escape. I felt like I was in the drivers seat for the whole process, and Wally was happy to work I had a very positive experience buying my brand new Escape. I felt like I was in the drivers seat for the whole process, and Wally was happy to work with me over whatever method I wanted - we started over email, and went back and forth for a short while before I even came in, and I never felt pressured to come sit down or give my phone number during that period. Once in and doing my test drive and discussing the deal I said I'd go home and sleep on it. There was no pressure for me to sign that night, Wally encouraged me to take my time and think things through. That is reassuring as a customer, because it shows confidence in the product and the deal we discussed. I'd absolutely recommend Wally and Sherwood Ford. I'm a slow, methodical, cautious guy and I'm sure not super fun to deal with - I'm not ignorant or belligerent or anything like that, but I do like to go over things 2-3 times which I'm sure is 'fun' to deal with hah. I felt like I was handled professionally and I really appreciated the patience. Top notch I had contacted a few dealers that were close to me but just seemed like they did not want to deal or they wanted me to get into a truck that was down I had contacted a few dealers that were close to me but just seemed like they did not want to deal or they wanted me to get into a truck that was downgrading from what I currently owned. So I did a search and came across Sherwood and decided to give them a call. I was connected to Alex when I phoned I told him what I had to trade and what I was looking for. He told me to send pics of my trade and while I was doing that he would go out to the lot and take a video of a truck he thought I would like. He sent the video and after watching it I called him back and we started talking numbers. I left It for a couple days as I was back at work and he phoned me later on to see what I was thinking. I told him to get me some solid numbers and within a few minutes he got back to me I gave the go ahead and he said a finance person would call. Well it was almost closeing so I thought ok maybe tomorrow but I was wrong I was contacted by Robert who stayed a little later to get the info he needed to get my application started. He then asked when I would be able to make it in I said I’m only off Saturday and Sunday he said he would have everything ready for me when I came in. So i headed down Saturday and my truck was ready and from sale to finance everything was lined up. My experience was great from the start i came in with 2 kids and they were entertained the whole time so we could get everything finalized. I got the truck and payment that I wanted. 3 days later Alex gave me a call to follow up and see how everything was and if I had any questions. I was truly surprised the way they deal with customers and answered all the questions I had. I would definitely be buying again from Sherwood and recommending them to anyone looking for a new vehicle More
