Hi Mr. Smith, I have spoken with Doug our Fixed operations manager who was very involved with your wife's Pathfinder. There was open communication throughout the repair, and all the steps taken where necessary to troubleshoot the issue. Doug did provide a rental car at no charge, and all the pick up and drop off of the rental car was all done at Sherway Nissan. Granted there was time wasted coming to the dealership, but this repair had to go though a repair flow investigation which required multiple visits. You or your wife where never viewed as a nuisance and we tried to accommodate your inconvenience with a full detail of your pathfinder. I am sorry that you feel that the apology was insincere as all communication was done with your wife, but we are sorry if she felt this way. Please accept our deepest apology that this particular repair took longer then usual.

I don't know why you think we are trying to "upsell" unnecessary work as the work that was recommended is usually done on vehicles with mileage such as yours. Evan had noticed, based on all the history you do have with us, that none of these services where ever performed. It is his duty to recommend services to keep you and your occupants safe and to extend the drivability of your car for a longer time period. We are sorry that you feel this way, but from everything that was recommended, it was required. We never "upsell" unnecessary work as we believe in maintaining a long relationship with all of our customers.
