1st time visit ... GREAT SERVICE!!! I am writing this lengthy review because of my great experience at Scarborough Subaru. I was having problems with my brakes and other minor issues wi I am writing this lengthy review because of my great experience at Scarborough Subaru. I was having problems with my brakes and other minor issues with my 2010 Forester. I arrived at the dealership at 35mins before they opened. I was greeted by Jeff 25 mins before the service department opened. He offered me a cup of coffee because it was chilly outside ...which was very nice of him. He was very patient with me while I explained my issues with my car. He then explained the lay out of the service department because it was my first visit. When Jeff explained the report from the mechanic he was very clear and professional ... He even escorted me to my car which was at the back of the service department. Jeff introduced me to Sergio who was the mechanic assigned to my car. Sergio gave me a visual explanation of the outstanding issues on my car which needed immediate attention. A shuttle service was arranged to drop me off and pick me up when my car was complete. I needed my car before rush hour started ... Jeff and Sergio did not disappoint ... IT WAS DELIVERED ON TIME!!! Jeff introduced me to the other service staff and the Service Manager Dominic. I mentioned to Dominic I was pleased and impressed with his staff. Jeff attached his business card to my invoice and provided options for future appointments bookings. THANK YOU for making me comfortable and feel like family. He is very helpful in answering our questions about the car and providing the numbers to help us decide on whether to purchase, finance or lease our Forester. My one disappointment was that my new Forester had a very visible scratch on the gear box on the day of delivery. Besides the minor delay when shifting gears (when compared to my previous Mazda6), we are happy with the car's performance. Can't wait for the snow to come to experience the Forester's full capabilities! More
