I was there for an oil change and the Service Ad visor's approach was like he was the customer and me the dealership...After they charge a pile of money for an oil change last time, they wanted me to pay again the same amount of money which was in the range of $300.00 just to do another oil change...I said to the guy, "So long buddy, you'll never see me coming back again..This dealership is own by the same owner as the one at 32 Ave NE...Sadly neither that one is better than this one as my wife and I had our sour experiences with them too... A car is a big purchase for some people, so it means they need to search a lot before they buy it. Nissan was one of my options, so I went to Nissan Royal Oak to look at what was available and the rates as well. Omar Ahmad, sales consultant "helped" me. I told him that I was just starting to look at cars, and when I got the chance I would call him back for a test drive. As I was not ready yet for the car purchase and he kept on calling me, ALL THE TIME. I told him I needed more time. Didn't work, he wouldn't stop calling me and writting me text messages. I tried to be a little more direct and said I was not financially ready to buy the car I want, he answered me back saying that even not being financially ready yet I should still buy the car, because that would be an investment. What kind of person tells someone that is not ready yet to buy a 30.000 dollars car? It is beyond beind a sales person, it is not being human at all. The dealership is open to the public, which means I have the right to come in and out without being bugged by boring sales person, and I have the right to start looking for the car I will buy soon. It is not because I got there that he will make me buy a car right away. More respect to your clients, please. More

They wanted a pre auth to hold the vechile and actually charged our credit card $2000 and then had us sign the offer to purchase and th n gave us the reciept from our card. We tried to back out because we had a personal issue come up at home that night. So we called Jayden Wigelsworth right away and told him we had a personal issue come up and we had to hold off to a week or month not sure yet the cost of our issue he said I don’t care that’s no t my problem I’m not canceling the deal you are stuck buying the car or loosing your deposit. So I recommend that if you want a good experience do not I repeat do not buy a car at Royal Oak Nissan or you might regret walking in the front doors of the worst dealership in Calgary. More

Salesman made promises that he either forgot to pass onto the service center. He even old me the car didn't come with a extea set of tires but after I mentioned complaining did he all of a sudden remember there is an exextra set upstairs. They claimed that they spend hours detailing the car but I still found dust and watermarks inside of it. To top it all off they threw a "royal oak Nissan" decal on my bumper and one employee said I would have to book an appointment and pay to get them to take it off, even though I didn't ask them to put it on. My car is good and I'm happy with it, but there service and demeanor definitely needs improvement. More

I book appointments a few weeks in advance for simple tasks like oil changes and tire swaps. Every time I go in for the appointment they tell me it will take ~1.5hrs because they are very busy. Then I sit there and it ends up taking over 2.5hrs. Plus they always try to sell extras. My last tire swap, the lady tries to sell an alignment saying the car has over 20,000kms so needs it. I feel sorry for the poor souls they fool like this. Their prices for simple stuff are reasonable but as soon as they find something extra to do (and they will always come up with something) they gouge the heck out of you. Most service advisers have zero integrity. Stay away from this service centre! More
Women be careful of the magic disappearing price estimate. My wife was quoted one price for a job. When she got to the dealership to pick up the vehicle, the price had magically changed to a substantially higher cost without any additional work being done over and above the original work order. She felt intimidated as a woman and paid the new "magic" price. When we objected to this practice we received no response from the service rep or from Royal Oak management. Take the money and run. Needless to say we have purchased our new Nissan from another Nissan dealership with which we have found the service attention to be very good. More
They do not stand behind there sales If asked I would not recommend you deal with Royal Oak Nissan in Calgary. They do not stand behind there sales nor do they offer any after sales service. Very disappointed with our used car purchase and the after sales service, or lack thereof. We purchased a used 2014 pathfinder from Royal Oak Nissan in Calgary. The salesman (Dylan), the delivery representative (Emily) and the finance manager (Tyler) were all quite helpful to begin with. After owning and driving the car for about three weeks we discovered on a road trip to Red Deer during colder weather (-10C) that while driving at Hwy speeds there was/is a terrible draft on the passenger side. The draft blows on your feet making the passenger very uncomfortable and cold. After our trip and owning the car for less than one month we returned to the dealership and asked if there was something they could do for us? The sales manager flat out refused to help in any way. The car has 75,000km, Nissan warranty will not cover it, extended warranty will not cover it. More
Money hungry - don’t care about customers Money hungey - (DONT BUY A NEW CAR From there ) - customer service is the least of their worry , basically we got approved on a car. My wife and I dec Money hungey - (DONT BUY A NEW CAR From there ) - customer service is the least of their worry , basically we got approved on a car. My wife and I decided not to go forward with the car. We had 1000 dollars on Hold that they told us it will be returned regardless. Hoever; they didn’t DIDNT return our 1000 dollars - as quoted from Nissan managed Moe - “you wasted our time, that’s why we keeping by your 1000 and not returning your money”. Don’t go to Royal Oak Nissan — WROST I can’t believe a dealership such as Nissan does something like that to a customer. Trying to squeeze money out of you in anyway. I also quote Manager Moe-“ do you think your the only family that went though this issue\matter” I called other dealerships and told me they are suppose to return your money Back, I was advised to contact MVAIC. I have contacted MVAIC ,they will handle this matter. More
