I had a very relaxed and comfortable feeling dealing with Bob. I was pretty darn impressed by his forwardness and honesty. You don;t find that with everyone. I was so incredibly pleased by the end of my transaction I had almost forgotten what I had just spent! You pay for quality, and you pay for a vehicle you know will give you the best ride possible with all the extras attached. The thing you don;t pay for is great and friendly help and advice. I just picked my malibu up today. It had been there for more than three weeks and I expected it to be perfect now but guess what! Now it has electrical problems there are no lights on the stereo and I can' more than three weeks and I expected it to be perfect now but guess what! I just want my money back now and just forget about that piece of junk!! I know they will just want to make another deal but what if they don't have the kind of car I'm looking for?! I've had nothing but problems with the 2012 Malibu way more than I had with my old 2004 grandprix with 270000 kms. I should stuck with that one. I don't know why I even traded it in. More

I gave the dealership these ratings because they deserved them. I had been searching for a used compact/crossover SUV for almost three months, visiting or communicating with nine other dealerships before sto them. I had been searching for a used compact/crossover SUV for almost three months, visiting or communicating with nine other dealerships before stopping by Ron Hodgson on an exhausted whim. Some of those dealerships tried to fast-talk me into taking out a loan, some of them tried to get me into a completely different make and model (and once even type) than I had already decided I wanted. One was all set to sell us a perfectly fine vehicle pending a third-party inspection, and then tried to bully us into buying the vehicle immediately by saying they couldn't hold for an inspection after all; in retrospect I think they were afraid an inspection would reveal something bad. The service we received at Ron Hodgson truly shone in comparison to all these other chuckleheads. FRIENDLINESS: Todd greeted us as soon as we pulled in. I gave him the parameters I was searching for, and he was able to tell me from memory everything he had that fit the bill. He only asked once if I was interested in anything not on my list, and accepted my firm "No." That acceptance is what got him this 5. Pushy, hungry, high-pressure sales tactics that were obviously learned at some seminar or handed down from upper management make me FLEE, and I'm not alone in feeling like this. Want my attention? Treat me like a person. It's not hard. Todd did it just fine. PRICE: Within minutes we were test-driving a 2009 Mazda Tribute with 54,000 km on it, priced at $18k. Its price had recently been lowered from $24k, and when it was clear we were serious about the vehicle he didn't hesitate to knock off another $500. This might have been a case of right place/right time, as I understand the vehicle had been taking up lot space for a while. Still, whatever the reason, that is some attractively competitive pricing! Solid 4. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Once we decided we wanted the vehicle, we needed to arrange a third-party inspection for it. The manager at the used office, whose name I failed to catch, started calling the same garages I had, and used his influence to get us a same-day inspection when those same garages had told me the soonest appointment they had was more than a week away. THAT is some above-and-beyond customer service! They didn't hesitate to drive the vehicle to the garage, either, but I consider that standard. It was making those calls for us that netted this 5. QUALITY OF WORK: So far we are very happy with the condition we got our Tribute in. The only reason this isn't a 5 is they didn't fill up the gas tank before handing it over. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: We are really happy we stumbled across this dealership. Buying from them, we felt confident and comfortable. Excellent service all around. More
