This purchase was made after sca This week May 29, 2017 we purchased a pre-owned Nissan Titan SWB 4x4 Truck from Ron Hodgesons GMC St Albert Alberta. This purchase was made after scanning the local market and the internet via a number of Vehicle Sales websites e.g. City Ford to assess what options were available to us. After identifying a number of opportunities,we visited quite a few dealers with the hope of finding the vehicle that met our needs. Our experience in dealing with firstly Murray Daina the salesman and then Allan Demers the Sales Manager was an important factor in making our final decision to purchase through Ron Hodgeson GMC , We were very impressed by the professional manner in which they both conducted business. they were very accommodating in allowing my husband to view, and more importantly test drive the vehicle, Allan was very willing to share his knowledge of the Truck's potential, and we always felt that he was playing open cards. He was not very pushy or overly aggressive (as I found with some dealers) and as a result we felt very comfortable engaging with him on a sale at the time. He was willing to listen to our concerns, and addressed them with the patience one seldom sees these days. They also gave us fair market value for our KIA Sportage trade in, Although Allan was not linked directly to sale, I was most impressed by the whole buying experience and friendliness of everyone on Allan's team this was indication to us that the truck had been properly prepared and gave us every confidence that the after sales service would be of the highest quality. . In concluding the purchase, Allan Demers and the staff managed the administration flawlessly, Murray our salesman prepared the vehicle perfectly. The atmosphere in the dealership is comfortable and easy-going; there was everything from a free BBQ for staff and customers, to a lounge with coffee and popcorn. Travis was quick and responsive to our questions, never making us feel pressured to rush in to something. Ludwig was patient and went over the financial piece in detail, knowing we had a poor experience at a previous dealership. James made sure we were happy with everything before we completed the deal. We were even given a tour of the facility, so that we knew who to speak with in the service department and what to do for our first service appointment. We have purchased 5 new vehicles over the past 5 years and this has never happened in any other dealership. More

At Ron Hodgson dealership we found our salesman to be very honest and forfront without wasting our time. We spent little time working on the deal because we had open communication. Very efficient. Other dealerships we had visited were dishonest with us about pricing which made for a frustrating experience. We were glad this didn't happen to us here. The financing portion went smoothly as well. Great friendly staff and overall a good experience. Will be a returning customer in the future I would expect. More

Beginning with the receptionist right up to the manager everyone was great to deal with. The receptionist even came out to my vehicle when I pulled up to ask if I needed any help getting my granddaughter out of my vehicle, she noticed from inside that I had a few things to carry. That is truly going above and beyond to me.My husband went to work the next day and was telling a group of guys about the great service we received at your dealership and he was told a story about one of those guys coming in to pick up a part he needed and that he had received such great service that the next time he needed to purchase a vehicle he would definitely buy it at Ron Hodgson. We will continue to spread the word about all the great people we dealt with and recommend this dealership to everyone we know.Thanks again for a job well done from such a fine group of people. More

Would happily recommend other people to go see him. Dealing with Anthony was not as good. He was nice enough. But... There were 2 parts of his service that I didn't like. 1- showing us the "retail" price on the extended warranty, then showing us the secret dealer price. And then repeatedly talking about what a secret it was and how we can't show anybody or tell anybody. Makes the deal feel very slimy and very "used car salesman" like. 2- Anthony apologized in every other sentence for something. He'd type two words on the keyboard and apologize. It would take 4seconds for the printer to work and he said sorry 5times. Just stop apologizing, do the job. Shane was great. I'd send people to see him without hesitation but would caution that the finance department is an unfortunate experience that must simply be endoured. More
