I bought a 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L from Roadsport Honda in March 2026. I would not buy from this dealership again. During the purchase process, I was told Sym-Tech Total Loss/GAP protection and Tire & Rim March 2026. I would not buy from this dealership again. During the purchase process, I was told Sym-Tech Total Loss/GAP protection and Tire & Rim protection were not optional and were tied to my financing approval and/or rate. I also had written communication indicating the add-ons could not be changed. In my opinion, that was extremely misleading. I requested cancellation on March 16, within the allowed cancellation period. What should have been a simple cancellation turned into almost two months of chasing, delays, and excuses. I had to repeatedly contact Roadsport Honda, Sym-Tech, dealership management, Honda Canada, OMVIC, and Scotia Dealer Advantage just to get the refund applied to my loan. Sym-Tech confirmed the contracts were cancelled at the selling dealership, yet Roadsport still made me chase basic answers: whether the cancellation was submitted, what the refund amount was, whether the cheque was issued, whether Scotia received it, and whether it was actually applied to my loan. This was a ridiculous waste of time. Based on my experience, the process felt intentionally difficult, like they were hoping I would eventually give up and just accept thousands of dollars in add-ons I did not want. A customer should not have to fight for weeks to cancel products within the proper cancellation window. If you buy here, get everything in writing. Do not rely on verbal statements about financing or add-ons. Confirm every product is optional before signing. Keep every email. Check your loan afterward to make sure any refund actually gets applied. Based on my experience, Roadsport Honda was not transparent, not straightforward, and made a simple cancellation unnecessarily difficult. I would not recommend this dealership. More
