We felt that the margin was too small and there was no give on their end. In fairness to the salesman Raymond it was the sales manager that would not budge on the price. We then expressed interest in a 2011 which was listed for $26600. The best price there was $26200. I guess the sales manager likes the number $400. We left the dealership as our two small children were growing restless after two hours of back and forth to get nowhere with the 2012. In the parking lot we looked on autotrader to see where we should venture next. To our shock the 2012 that we had just test drove that was listed for $28400 (with 22000 km, in case the future buyer reads this) was now listed for $29586. I guess that's an easy way to increase the perceived savings margin. Go to Orangeville Honda. They moved $1700 and we are now the proud owners of a 2011 Honda Odyssey. Less hassle and no railroad. Dirty car I purchased my 2010 Honda Pilot at Richmond Hill Honda. When we saw the vehicle they said they just received the car and didn't have time to clean it I purchased my 2010 Honda Pilot at Richmond Hill Honda. When we saw the vehicle they said they just received the car and didn't have time to clean it up. A week later we purchased the car and it was slightly cleaner. I was told that the car would be detailed before picking it up and when my husband brought it home it was still dirty. I could take a baby wipe to the leather and with 3 wipes it comes out grey. I called the dealer and they told me to come back and that they would clean it. I took it back, waited for 2 hours and was given the car back with dirty water streaks coming down the leather seats. I was so annoyed and angry that I drove 1 hour for a half xxx job that I didn't have the patience to wait around any longer for them to clean it again. I would not recommend this dealership. More

I had a very poor experience buying a car from and servicing it with this dealer. Unfortunately: 1. The salesman, Wayne Kwok, and the financial manager tricked me with the price. I ended up paying fi servicing it with this dealer. Unfortunately: 1. The salesman, Wayne Kwok, and the financial manager tricked me with the price. I ended up paying five thousand dollars more than anticipated. 2. A couple of days ago my 2011 CR-V did not start, so I took it to the dealership. They tested the battery and said the battery and the car were “in good condition”. However, the next day, the car did not start again. I took it to an independent certified mechanic. The battery failed the load test and had to be replaced. The service staff at RH Honda lied to me because the car, including the battery, is still under warranty. 3. I had a lot of stress and wasted a whole workday. 4. The service manager, Darren Reed, when asked why my car does not function, said “I don’t know”. If you, Mr. Reed, don’t know what is wrong and are not capable of fixing the problem, even "with very expensive equipment" – you probably should not be the service manager at a Honda dealership. More
Lot of lies. Not responsible. I bought a Honda certified vehicle and they were suppose to give me a file but manager told me he lost the file and gave me bunch of photo copies. Had a very bad experience leasing a car from this dealer. I guess it's my fault - all the signs were there: 1. The salesman had very poor knowledge of what other car dealers/car makers have to offer but had I guess it's my fault - all the signs were there: 1. The salesman had very poor knowledge of what other car dealers/car makers have to offer but had the nerve to claim they all are garbage and should be avoid. 2. The salesman and sales manager were very pushy convincing me to close the deal although I clearly stated that I am still shopping by. 3. The sales manager claimed the price I've got is lower then it cost them. 4. The financial manager lied to me that he needs my SIN for credit history inquiry. Later sales manager told me they actually need it for identification. Now according to the Privacy commissioner of Canada it's illegal to using SIN for any purpose other then it was asked for. 5. After I left a deposit they messed with me asking for more requirements each time. At some point they were asking for 4K deposit (on a ~20K car), a cosigner and me supplying them my SIN. Finally when I come to take my deposit the salesmen called me a liar claiming I didn't told him I don't have a job while I was clearly stating that I need this car to commute to my new job that I start in two weeks (any way the car lease was applied on my wife!). I got to another dealership who offered me much better deal without any pressure or scam tricks. Got home, calculated all pros and cons and returned next day to close the deal. I learned a good lesson here and next time I buying a car each one of these five signs will cause me get up and leave. More
