CROOKS, THIEVES, DISHONEST, LIARS and every other bad word This dealership is nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves. I purchased my vehicle early 2015 and have had nothing problems dealing with these people This dealership is nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves. I purchased my vehicle early 2015 and have had nothing problems dealing with these people.(Richard, Eli, Bree, Kyle, Chad, Ms Chan, and a number of others in sales). I was lied to about what the vehicle features were, including that it is only a 4 cylinder not a 6, doesn't have perimeter approach lights or heated door mirrors. Other matters that I discovered when I looked over the documents were: Interest rate more than triple what was promised, Payments were bi-weekly not monthly, the price that I was charged for the vehicle was mega inflated and I did not get big screen TV as promised. Although not getting the TV did not put me in hardship, the interest rate, payments bi-weekly and the price of the vehicle price certainly did. It has also affected my health from all the stress and anxiety I have and are going through. When it came to signing documents, The salesperson was standing over me saying "sign here, initial here, sign here, initial here" while he was flipping pages. On this document the only place it mentioned being a 4 cylinder was in little letters, way up in the left hand corner where the sales person covered with the thumb while signing was happening. This salesperson bullied me into signing. When thinking about things afterward, I also remembered that hand written documents were being shredded as the deal progressed. I drove home after 6pm in the vehicle and when returned to Red Deer Mitsubishi prior to noon the next day, I told them I wanted my other vehicle back and to cancel this deal, I was told by Bree that they wouldn't do that because they would have to sell it as a used vehicle. Bree also told me that I should have had a pink card prior to driving the vehicle off the lot, which I hadn't been informed of. To date I am still dealing with this dealerships BS and there are new matters still arising. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, when purchasing anything. I am not usually as naïve or stupid; this was the first time in my life I was able to purchase a 'new' vehicle or had to buy a vehicle by myself. Why can there not be anything done about car dealerships that treat people this badly? I tried AMVIC - their answer was we can't help you, you signed the papers. I tried the BBB, but they only believe what the dealership says, and the paperwork. I tried Mitsubishi Canada, but was told that I'd have to go back to the dealership. I signed a petition which had over 500 names to shut down this disgusting business, but it soon disappeared right off the sight, I assume this dealership got wind of it. What can people do when things are done verbally, you have been lied to, the stuff written in the typed pages are not the same as you have discussed with the sales person and you have experienced pressure sales, and all of the above? Is there any recourse for the consumer? Why do these places even exist? DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ANY STARS FOR THIS DEALERSHIP. Maybe turds. A big, big pile of turds. More

When I came back to get my free oil change (oil changes were part of the purchase deal) they said I no longer qualified. Even though I had been told by their staff it was no problem. Asked to speak to a manager and was left standing around for 20 minutes. The next time I heard from anyone it was on their bi weekly call to get me to come in and buy another vehicle from them, even though they wouldn't offer me even remotely good trade in value. I wouldn't buy a vehicle from Red Deer Mitsubishi with a gun to my head. I wouldn't call them Dad, even if there was a fire. More

I phoned on Tues and talked to manager? and stated my distrust and disgust of the sales person. Was told they would bring the two vechicles to dealership, when got there were told the one we were interested in was sold but brought new one to compare & went to look at the one that was sold at their other dealership. After much discussion, numerous people talking to us and leaving us for periods of time told us they had located two and would bring them in, then they flitted off and we went outside toget some fresh air they came out with a empty piece of paper with prices on it and convinced us to leave a $500.00 deposit so we would have first choice as " they fly out as quick as they get them, we foolishly did leave deposit and they said vechicles would be in at end of week or first of next( thank God we did not sign any papers) Came home & thought about price & mileage, looked at websites & decided did not like either as well as had very bad feeling about ALL these people. We went back on Wed to get our deposit( which they said they would just hold and they would return to us if we decided not to buy) and after many little private meetings behind darkened glass room we were told they had already deposited it, told us they only " cut" cheque son Tues & Fri and it would not be available till 4 pm on Friday . We left and ran to our bank and put stop payment on cheque. These people a pushy, try and in our case succeed in confusing us and after reading the reviews on this site the others who wrote about there issues are bang on. The things we have heard since from others who we have dealt with , we, as well as them are amazed this crooked +++ business is still around. Wish could have been a fly on the wall when they find they will not get to screw us around on our deposit ! Am pretty sure all their poor treatment will come back to bite them and pretty sure could not happen to a better bunch!!!! On a good note we found a much better deal on a much better vechicle with great people working at it. More

You can get them for $50. Sadly I trusted them and I just wanted out of there after being there for 6 xxxxing hours. All my fault yes, I should have read everything, or brought my lawyer ffs lol. The sales guys are extremely pushy and the finance department are xxxxed. You'll never get the price of any of their vehicles, I was told "oh they don't tell us the price of any of our vehicles". They lie to you, Told me paint protection guards against ANY scratches, door dings, knicks or anything, and it doesnt. They wont cover bumpers or the top of your vehicle, so basically you're giving them money for nothing. And the upholstery protection is another joke. They don't replace even the smallest part if there is a tear/rip or scratch inside. They melt it and mend it together best they can. That's what you get for $700, paint protection I think was $1500. Rim protection only protects cracks in the rim or manufacturer errors so that is pointless as well. Anyways, I expected more but got the same treatment from Cambridge Mitsubishi in Ontario. I believe they all run the same lies and deception to sell cars. No more mitsubishi for me ever. Atleast the Honda dealerships, and Mazda for that matter have all been great experiences with no pressure. More
Red Deer Mitsubishi: The Lucifer of car dealerships I bought my first new to me vehicle from mitsubishi a year ago and at first i was beyond pleased with the service that i had recieved and i do still I bought my first new to me vehicle from mitsubishi a year ago and at first i was beyond pleased with the service that i had recieved and i do still love my jeep.But sadly i learned the hard way that this was due to me being naive and inexperienced in buying vehicles through a dealership. about a month ago a family friend looked at my bill of sale after i was very unimpressed with the dealership for trying to force me out of my current vehicle into another that i did not want or like at all for a "better interest rate". I also found out that they had over charged me a little over 10 thousand dollars on my loan, and they had also been running my credit once a month for 9 months after i bought the vehicle without my permission. as a young woman whose just trying to get on my feet Red Deer Mitsubishi has really put me in a hard spot trying to clean up the mess they made for me while having a big smile on their faces, i will personally never step back into this dealership and i will never recommend it to anyone, the sales and finance people are pushy and will politely bully you into buying a vehicle without even giving you time to think if you really want to make the purchase or not. and after many harrassing calls trying to pressure me to come back in to "see what they could do" i finally told them i would not be returning and i would be taking any further business of mine to another dealership in town i was told "have fun wasting your xxxxing time" and was hung up on. Im disgusted and hope that people will realize how terrible this dealership truly is. More

Run, dont walk from Red Deer Mitsubishi Purchased an RVR from RD Mitsubishi last fall. While I am happy with the vehicle, I will never again deal with or ever recommend this dealership. Sales dept is just one big show of promises, this and that is included, no worries we can do that,etc. Nothing they say is in fact going to happen or be included. Finance is the biggest group of liars and crooks in one place. They will tell you anything to get you to sign. Ask a straightforward question and they will look you right in the eye and lie. There is no follow-up on questions. I have emailed and called sales, finance and the manager multiple times and no one has ever replied. Seriously, never! To get an answer I had to go into the dealership and wait 30 minutes before someone was available. Then their response was "I will call you tomorrow", which they never did. I have given up on getting answers or help from them, which I am sure is their overall business plan. There is no customer service once they have your money. They are all about high pressure sales, getting your signature and money and then never wanting to hear from you again. So far the service dept has been helpful, and I honestly hope they dont end up being like the sales and finance Depts. Time will tell. I would never recommend Red Deer Mitsubishi. They are liars and crooks. Run as far and as fast as you can from this group. They are part of Landsperg Auto - Google them and avoid all of their dealerships as I am sure they will allbe the same. I regret the day I walked into their dealership and hope I can prevent others from making the same mistake! More

Was told when we called that it was not a warranty issue and that it would not be covered. After attempts to get it fixed with no success, I was bothered by why it was not covered under the warranty. I called Bree the beginning of Dec/15 to find out why it would not be covered. She apologized and said the service department should never have said it was not covered as it was not their decision. Bree was going to get back to me that night. A week later I needed to email her to see if she heard anything. No reply. Emailed again but still no reply. I tried calling and was told that “Bree is working on it and will get back to you”. Finally, a month after this all started I emailed Bree again stating my disappointment that I had STILL not heard back from her. She finally replied saying someone would be in touch and that for my frustration, she would make sure I received a full tank of gas. Almost 2 months after this all started, the Jeep finally made it in just to find out it was not a warranty problem. Disappointed but not surprised. When my husband went to pick up the Jeep, Bree had the General Manager Johnny talk to him to. He was to (and I quote) “get involved to see what we could do given the situation has been frustrating for you and wanted to see if there is anything we as a dealership could do to rectify the problem”. Johnny’s idea of rectifying the situation was to refinance my Jeep and my husband’s truck! He said (and I quote) “if we refinanced both vehicles the Jeep would be made right”. Seriously? Just fix the xxxx window. I reminded Bree about the tank of gas she promised. She said (and I quote) “In regards to the tank of gas – that will be honored”. That still has not happened. Guess we have a different definition of the word honor. More

I found out that every year that they call me for Trade-in. they open my Credit Information without permission, which is not right. they did 3 times since 2013, 2014, 2015 then my bank caught them recently. Red Deer Mitsubishi Dealership is a very dangerous company they can ruin your credit score just opening it up without permission. NEVER TRUST THIS PEOPLE WHO WORK AT RED DEER MITSUBISHI. sales personnel are really crock's they don't put price on the vehicle that was on sale. they talk to you and give you foolish offer, you better bring your own calculator and make your own interest rate formula before you talk to them because you're dealing with the most and worst EVIL people in the World.
