Understanding a customer's background and needs is essential to developing a financing package as that is exactly what is needed for customers who may have experienced financial difficulties not caused within the individuals' control. Not only did Syed work out details but he also took time out of his office to explain features and responded to our concerns in a calm and rational manner. Sometimes it takes just one person to make a difference and that fosters the ranking of a dealer. That is exactly what happened. It also goes without saying that the Honda is a great car and has all the options we wanted at a great price! I would recommend however that Pickering Honda make sure main phones get answered and voicemail messages even to senior staff are responded to promptly as this was not my experience. On late Friday afternoon of Canada Day weekend my tire blew on the 407 enroute to Ottawa. It was hot and humid and there was grid lock everywhere. Rick St James was remarkably nice and competent and squeezed my Civic into the shop for repair. I was back on the road within an hour. Other places that I called either did not have my tire or could not accomodate me. Needless to say, I was very happy and impressed. Moreover, the total cost was in line to what the other places would have charged me. I appreciate excellence and therefore am very happy to write in support of Rick and Pickering Honda. More
