Bought a vehicle from this dealership in June and it was a non stop headache with them. They sold me a faulty, unsafe car that had a worn out clutch. Not long after purchasing the car, while I was driving i a non stop headache with them. They sold me a faulty, unsafe car that had a worn out clutch. Not long after purchasing the car, while I was driving it, the clutch fully stuck to the ground and the car was not able to move, and I was stuck in the middle of an intersection not able to move, scared for my life that I was going to get nailed by a car . I then called a tow truck to tow the car to Pickering Honda for this clutch issue to be fixed. The clutch ended up getting replaced , but it was not installed properly , which caused my vehicle to shutter while driving in first gear. I immediately said to the service manager Greg Chisholm that something is not right with this clutch, a brand new clutch should not be shuttering in first gear. His reply was “oh it’s totally normal for a new clutch to shutter, their is a break in period on it so to drive it for a bit and it will go away. Also when Pickering Honda gave me back my car , their was a very loud clicking noise behind the dash. The service manager Greg Chisholm told me that the clicking is because the blend door actuator is broken , but Pickering Honda didn’t want to replace that for me. So not only did they give me back my car with a clutch that was not installed properly, but they also gave me back my car with a broken part that I later got fixed at a Ford dealership in which I had to pay $400 for. Anyways, I took Greg’s advise with the clutch shuttering and I drove the car everyday for a few weeks for this break in period to happen and I’ve been driving the car now for 2 months since and it is still shuttering like crazy in first gear. I also wanted to mention that every time I had to bring my car back in to Pickering Honda, the service department would never answer the phone, and they would never return my calls ever. Not only is the service manager Greg ignorant, unprofessional, and a liar , the General manager Atif also is, he’s just a scammer selling people defective, unsafe cars (atif was the one who sold me my car). Not one time did anyone at Pickering Honda say to me sorry for all the trouble I’ve had to go through with the car they sold me. I had to force them to pay me back for the tow truck. Can you imagine buying a car from a dealership, and then a couple weeks later the car just totally breaks down in the middle of the road where you almost get nailed by oncoming traffic and then have to pay $150 for a tow truck for the car to be taken back to the dealership. That’s exactly what I experienced, and Pickering Honda couldn’t give a xxxx about it, they didn’t care at all about my safety or anything. If I had of been driving on the 401 when my clutch fully stuck to the floor , I would of been hit by a car from behind and could of lost my life, and when I mentioned this scenario to Pickering Honda , they shrugged their shoulders and couldn’t have cared less. All they want is your money money money. The amount of amateurs working there is unbelievable, they are totally clueless about cars , unprofessional, ignorant, liars and they scam people for a living, I seriously can’t believe how they live with themselves knowing that that’s what they do for a living. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not buying a vehicle from this dealership, especially if it’s used because you might have to go through the same horrible experience that I did. More

Worst experience in return if being a loyal customer. Clicking/crunching noise upon turning on a 2017 civic ex was recommended to get Brake pads replaced, rotors replaced and Brahe service. No diagnostic report on the actual issue. They only want dollars. One bolt missing from rear tire after service (replaced with some rusted non oem bolt). Rear tire flat after service. Was advised by Jeniffer in customer relations team that someone by name Hopkins will contact and address this concern. But the Sir is busy. Taking this entire matter to omvic & Honda corporate governance head office. More

I was scammed by Pickering Honda today! Still fuming over my ..stupidity to bring my car there. My wifes honda fit had a check engine light on. I am a VERY handy person and being so I have an ODB2 reader so I r ..stupidity to bring my car there. My wifes honda fit had a check engine light on. I am a VERY handy person and being so I have an ODB2 reader so I read the code and it indicated a #4 cylinder misfire. I then suspected coil pack easy fix. I switched the coil packs around tried the code and same code! So could only be fuel injector. I call Honda Canada to verify I am still until warranty they tell me yup power train warranty till October 2020 but check with dealer. I take it to PICKERING HONDA I tell them what I did, checked code>> switched coil pack and suspect injector (which I could fix myself but under warranty hey why not! go to dealer) so I asked point blank if under warranty he says I dont know will have to check under the hood?. till I think power train warranty means anything in engine right? An hour later he calls me tells me its the fuel injector (like I told him at the counter) NOT UNDER WARRANTY????He wants $950 for one injector and 3 hours labour so about $1700. I go back and pickup my car and he tells me that'll be $160 for telling me what i told him was wrong with the car when i dropped it off!. SO he purposely did not advise me at the time of me dropping off the car that coil packs or injectors were not under warranty knowing they would get $160 from me for a few minutes of testing to tell me what I already knew. I'm an average guy but boy when I feel scammed that really boils my bubble and scammed I was!! F Pickering Honda! Dead to me! Never never trust the stealerships again! June 16th follow up. I get a canned response to my review from PICKERING HONDA blah blah blah your fault not ours blah blah we are trained technicians blah blah our manager will call you blah blah... AND? Crickets of course. Nobody called nobody cares at every level in that stealership including management.. This is just another farce this company has to try and cover up how bad they really are. Yelp has a 2 star (average) rating on them so I'm not the only one venting. This is some shady shady outfit that should be reported to Head Office Honda Canada. If enough of us do that they will take notice and change their shady con-man stuck in the 1980's mentality of doing business. I have owned Toyotas and Hondas, in my three (3) encounters with a Honda dealership all three left me with a sour experience. Boycott Pickering Honda!! More
Very poor customer service. Service centre manager asked the to “get the h... out” instead is dealing with non performance. I was wrongly charged and justified by saying this an error.
