July 19th with a starting problem with my 2008 RAV4. Angela and Alex went above and beyond to help me solve this problem. With no appointment times available they said if I could drop off and leave the vehicle the service department would do their best to have me back on the road by Friday noon. The other Toyota service location I phoned would not even consider checking my RAV until Tuesday July 25th. I dropped off my vehicle at 7am on Thur. July 20th and checked in with Michael, he told me that the service department would have it fixed as soon as possible, he phoned at noon to inform me that my RAV was repaired and ready for pick up. I would like to thank everyone involved for their exceptional customer service, a rare thing these days, other service departments could learn from your service employees. I will be using Peace Arch Toyota in the future for my vehicle service. Thanks again Marge More

Watch out for the "upsell" We've had our vehicle serviced at Peace Arch over the years and have become quite disillusioned with the place. To the point that we only take it there for an oil change, since we signed up for "Oil Change for Life" program several years ago. The service advisors are continually attempting to upsell "repairs" that they say need to be done, e.g. recently when I took the vehicle in for an oil change, I was first told that it was time to have the brakes done; until I pointed out that Peace Arch had done the brakes last Fall (the last time they did any repairs on the vehicle). Only then did the Advisor see the entry on the file. Then, after leaving the vehicle for the oil change, the Service Advisor called and said the technician had noticed that the windshield wipers were streaking the windshield (interesting in that it was a hot summer day) and needed to be replaced. Actually, the wipers had been replaced two months ago at another repair shop. Unless you have warranty work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. In South Surrey, I've found Fountain Tire on King George in South Surrey to be professional and honest and to give good advice about what needs to be done (and not done) to keep our vehicle in top shape. More

Complete rip off . We were charged 384.00 on parts and labor for a simple block heater change. Part itself costs no more than $50 and according to other dealerships an . Part itself costs no more than $50 and according to other dealerships and mechanics it takes less than 2 hours to get the full job done. Total bill with an oil change was $675!! We were desperate to have the work done as our truck is our only means of transport and we noticed the radiator had a leak and my husband saw some steam rising from the hood. This was the only dealership that had an immediate opening and now we understand why. We had our truck towed to the dealership immediately and did not get a chance to call around for quotes as we didn't know what exactly was wrong with the truck. Upon pickup of the vehicle my husband tried to ask the service guy what exactly was done to the vehicle and if the part was replaced or if it was merely just popped back into place and he could not get a straight forward answer. After further investigation we realized we were grossly overcharged for the service. Will not be returning to this dealership in the future. They obviously took full advantage of our situation. More

Criminals Beyond Bad Service! I purchased lifetime oil change in 2009 for our Siena Van. We seldom get any other work done on it because we have an excellent ba Beyond Bad Service! We seldom get any other work done on it because we have an excellent back yard mechanic who does all the other repairs and maintenance .Apparently, Peace Arch Toyota doesn't like that! Several times I have brought our van in for an oil change and as soon as we take it away the tires have low or little air pressure in them. I have had to rescue my wife from a parking lot because of a flat tire. And this morning , the day after service, the van once again has a flat tire. Once, my air cleaner has had a rag jammed in it. Another time, my hub cap had the wire removed from it, and as my wife drove away from the dealer, it flew off and broke. As far as I'm concerned these are criminal acts! If anyone else has this problem, please write on this. Maybe we can start legal action. I have had enough of this!!!!!! I have actually referred 2 people to purchase a vehicle with Peace Arch because I know a sales person there. What a mistake! More

I bought my 2016 4runner through a fleet sale. I realized after I picked it up that it had a vibration in the foot peddle of the brakes. At 1600km I brought it to Peace Arch Toyota in Surrey and two mechanics took it for a test drive agreeing something was not right. They asked me to come back for a senior mechanic, which I did two weeks later. They tried to reset brake system and locked an error code into it. So they kept it to repair. Two days later I received a call from the service manager telling me they were working on the problem with Toyota Canada but were not making progress. I told him that I needed a vehicle as I was going on holidays the next morning. He told me he could not give me a vehicle as I had not purchased the vehicle through Peace Arch Toyota. I was shocked by his remark. He said they didn’t feel comfortable giving my vehicle back as it still had a brake system error on it. I said again, I need a vehicle! He then said, “If you had bought an extended warranty or bought through us we could help, sorry”. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. So I told him that I have a $57,000.00 vehicle from Toyota you will not stand behind! He told me it was complicated! I went straight down and got my 4runner back. I will never do business at Peace Arch Toyota again! I warn anyone I meet of how poorly they treated me with the repair of my 2016 4runner with only 1600km on it. Truly unbelievable! More

We were told by the front desk clerk anywhere between $300 to $500. We are still waiting for the finance guy to call us. I think this is a rip off.
