Thank-you very much for letting me know. Certainly our goal is to always repair any customers car the first time. As indicated we did try. Our assisant manager Ben Featherstone and our foreman was involved. That day we just could not locate the problem. Sometimes the obvious is missed or we are trying to find a needle in the haystack. Difficult for all involved. Glad to hear that Surgenor's was able to locate the problem and fix the car. We know them well. They are part of our dealer group and we share the same ownership. When they opened last year several of our technicians moved from Pathway to the new store. I also know the Service Manager Chris Shannon. At this point is there anything that we can do for you. Certainly we like to keep all our customers and we need all our customers 100% satisfied. If you would like to meet certainly that would be possible as well. Sure, they tried to fix it once, but when I later insisted that the problem was still present, I was told by Ben to service my brakes, with my own money and only after that would they look for the noise again. That's absolutely ridiculous, and is the reason for the bad review. If he had told me to bring it back and they would keep trying until they locate the noise, things might have gone better, but I was turned away, so went elsewhere in the hopes of actually getting service.

Again thank-you very much. Understood. When looking for a noise that we cannot find at times we will see other items that are required. In this case it was the brake service. Until we get rid of other noises that can interfer it is very hard to locate your primary concern. When you go somewhere else they are starting over and yes they would certainly accept your appointment. In this case they found it quickly. So we can learn from this case, what repair did the other dealer perform. Was it under warranty? Also how would a line get pinched? Did they inform you of the cause. I even checked my brakes today and see or feel absolutely no rust ridge on them, and there is no noise from the be brakes. This is basically a case where the thought I was gullible and would have my brakes 'serviced' with you guys. I'm curious now how often this type of thing happens to others... I don't know how the brake line got kinked,and it doesn't matter either. The fact is that it was kinked and causing a noise that could be heard that your mechanics didn't work too hard to try to fix.

This type of thing rarley happens here. But mistakes do happen. There would never be intent. We have asked several times if there is anything we can do for you. I will assume from the response the answer it is no. We understand as a business if we made a mistake and did not find the problem. A mistake is understandable, but a service advisor telling me to repair something that is unrelated, and not offering any more assistance until I repair that unrelated item is not understandable, and not acceptable. I understand that mistake happen, but this was no mistake, this was someone trying to shrug me off because he thought he knew better than me about the problem with my car, without putting much time into diagnosing the problem. No, there is nothing you can do for me.
