Fire fighters helped evacuate six people that were trapped in that underpass, including my father. With safety no longer being a concern, the focus shifted to replacing what was lost. The replacing of identification cards, credit cards and cellular phones was already a hassle, but easy tasks compared to replacing an entire car; or so I had thought. A quick call to our BMW salesperson, Sergei, and within minutes he had gone over what was immediately available and what could be brought in if those options didn’t meet our needs. He gave us multiple financing options so I could weight out our options and get back to the insurance company. I learned a couple things that day; roll down your window at the first sight of rising water and; it’s easier to replace a BMW than a driver’s license. More
