Evening everyone. This is a buyer beware for anyone putting faith in Parkland Chrysler. I know they have had a really bad name but I decided to give them another chance with my vehicles since I was aware they have gone through a number of changes. My bad I guess. I brought my truck to Parkland Chrysler for a manifold leak and Hemi tick. I even sourced and supplied my own upgraded header and bolts to ensure the job was done right. What I got back was a $2,377 bill for work that nearly destroyed my engine. After picking up my truck, the tick was still there and the engine light was still on. I was told not to worry about it. I drove it back to work in Grande Prairie, and the engine progressively got louder, lost power, and started burning fuel. The truck was barely driveable by the time I arrived. I had a Grande Prairie dealership inspect it. When they opened it up, they told me it was one of the worst jobs they had seen — and that they would never have let a vehicle leave their shop in that condition. The header had separated from the block, the bolts were not properly torqued, and a heat shield that is required before installing the header was never installed. Because of that, all the wiring near the manifolds had melted and now needs to be replaced. I have photos to back every word of this up. That repair is going to cost me another $1,500 — on top of what I already paid Parkland to do the job right the first time. When I contacted the service manager, Trina Dalton, she was condescending, repeatedly cut me off, and essentially called me a liar. She compared a $2,300 header job to changing tires. Then she told me it was my fault for not reading the fine print on the invoice — where they quietly noted recommendations they never verbally communicated or followed up on — and said they would not be taking any responsibility because I had supplied aftermarket parts. Their technician did the work. Their technician failed to torque the bolts. Their technician skipped a required installation step that melted my wiring. None of that is on the parts I supplied. If you value your vehicle, your wallet, or being treated like an adult, go somewhere else. When another dealership opens up a shop's work and says they would never let a truck leave like that, it tells you everything you need to know about Parkland Chrysler. More

I dealt with the service department and received prompt and courteous service. I was able to get my vehicle booked for next day (fully expecting them to be booking a week or two ahead). If I could rate them a zero I would. Had work done to our new vehicle and they managed to put deep scratches in both rear doors from leaning on them. The interior headliner was covered in grease and they took a brush to the hood. After complaining multiple times about the sloppy workmanship they half xxx cleaned the interior and buffed the scratches. Paint is still damaged and easily seen. I complained to the service manager Norman Mercier about the problems and he said he would do nothing for us. He expected us to use are own insurance to pay for the damages they did to our new vehicle. After them having our vehicle 11 days and going there 6 times they did not resolve the problem. They refused todo anything about the damages. Now we have to pay for paint correction out of our own pocket to try and fix what they did. I asked for camera footage and they did not have any to show us and kept saying that they didn’t damage the vehicle. Worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. They do not take responsibility for their actions and put it on the customer. More
