Extremely frustrated with the service department. I have been trying to work with the service department for 6 years. I requested a diagnostic test on the car which was a waste of my money I had to t I have been trying to work with the service department for 6 years. I will not be taking my Kia back and will not be buying from this dealership. More
Service - Towed my 2015 KIA Optima Hybrid EX in due to "Check Hybrid" system, first time, dead battery - replace and install - $680.00. Picked up, two blocks later same warning "check Hybrid system, towed "Check Hybrid" system, first time, dead battery - replace and install - $680.00. Picked up, two blocks later same warning "check Hybrid system, towed back. 3 days later and another $280.00 for diagnostics still couldn't give a definitive answer or fix - suggested maybe a $780 relay but couldn't get one anyway due to backorders in all of NA. I spent a couple hours on youtube. Ordered a part from another brand dealer that knew what it was as Hyundai and KIA Orillia had no clue what the part was. Four days later part arrived, paid $160.00, installed in literally 30 seconds - problem solved. I called three time for the service manager to express my dissatisfaction, without response. Orillia KIA is clueless on Hybrids and in need of better customer service. I do not recommend Orillia KIA for service. More
Service - Did not identify issue after 2 visits and $980 of charges! 6 weeks later I ended up repairing it myself for $150.00. Still have not heard back from them. Although we ha e yet to get our vehicle as it’s on order, the guys at Orillia Kia were super easy to deal with. Dean was upfront and didn’t waste my time. Very accommodating and professional. I recently bought a used Rondo and they looked after everything, including sourcing wheels that were in better condition cosmetic wise than the originals.
