Buying new Toyota Corolla Hybrid We would like to stress that the “Excellent” rating we have provided is for Mansour Fazeli and the other staff at OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody. It is NO We would like to stress that the “Excellent” rating we have provided is for Mansour Fazeli and the other staff at OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody. It is NOT for Toyota Canada or Toyota US/Worldwide. We had to wait 6 weeks for our vehicle because Toyota Canada could not provide the vehicle to the Port Moody sales team, even though we had ordered and paid a deposit on the car. We found this totally unacceptable given the lack of any information provided on WHY a car was not available, and a constant bombardment of adverts that one could “drive in and drive a new Toyota away”. That Toyota continued to advertise cars (including Corolla Hybrids) when they could not provide cars is crazy! We only got a car because Mansour and Port Moody came up with a creative solution: selling us the demo model. We very much appreciate their efforts to get us a car in a timely manner. More

Note 2: I bought this vehicle because it is a medium-size SUV hybrid. Toyota will need to have an electric model ready when my lease is over (3 yrs.), as there will be market choice of alternative manufacturers with the right size and price. My observation: "Mr. Toyota" is not doing enough to manufacture electric vehicles, though he knows how (Prius). More
