While the salesman was very courteous and helpful, there was misdirection in creating a speedy sale. Told a year to a year and a half waitlist for a 2026 so I put myself on the waitlist after test driving was misdirection in creating a speedy sale. Told a year to a year and a half waitlist for a 2026 so I put myself on the waitlist after test driving a 2024 model, 2 months later told a car is available and coming in a week but asked to come in to talk. When I got there the same day, told it's here now, with no time to actually drive the 2026 with all of the technology features nor could they find the vehicle on the crowded lot at the moment. It was a mistake on my part not to drive the vehicle! I should have walked out. Neither the salesman nor the service person understood all of the new tech features, so when they found the vehicle they were short on substance in delivery. There were other people waiting for delivery as well behind me. Coming back for appt. no one fully knowledgeable available to sort it out, although the salesman tried valiantly and offered to trade with a less technical model. Another appointment was offered. That wasn't the real issue. I felt rushed into a sale without the effort made to inform me of the all of the various technical aspects of this car before I left the lot. The parking lot is overly crowded, service bay backed up people rushing about in tight spaces. It's a get in and get out situation. Would I have purchased the RAV with all of the extensive features if not rushed, and low trade in, who knows? I'm gradually figuring all of the features out myself through trial and error, and while the RAV is a great SUV it was certainly not a great purchasing experience! More

Port Moody Open Road Toyota is lucky to have such personable representatives as Noah and Jayson. As we already own a Lexus from Open Road Port Moody Lexus we assumed that Toyota Open Road would show the same level of excellent service. We weren’t let down. The only suggestion is to make final purchase day for scheduled customers further apart as wait time was extensive between, finance, insurance and vehicle review. This was not within Jayson’s purview and he kept in contact with us apologizing for the wait. Again quality character even when things don’t run smoothly. More
