While the dealership admitted responsibility, they refused to compensate my son for having the damage corrected by a trusted third-party professional. Their solution? They wanted to polish the vehicle themselves. If you can't even wash a customer's car without damaging its finish, why would anyone trust you with a polisher? That is not a reassuring solution—it's the reason we want an independent professional to do the work in the first place. This situation demonstrates a complete lack of respect for customer instructions, poor judgment, and an unwillingness to properly resolve a problem they created. A dealership should be building customer trust, not destroying it. I was seriously considering purchasing a new Hyundai Ioniq 5N or 6N, but after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Hyundai has potentially lost a significant sale because of a completely avoidable incident and the dealership's refusal to make things right. Think twice before trusting this dealership with your vehicle. More

When I had my oil changed by an independent mechanic, he found the oil was extremely dark and smelled burnt. As soon as the oil was changed, the burning smell and engine noise disappeared. This experience has made me question the quality of the service I received. I hope Hyundai Boundary takes this concern seriously and improves its quality control, because customers trust the dealership to properly maintain their vehicles. More

I purchased a demonstration Hyundai Santa Fe 2023 on September 21st, 2024, only to be met with a string of challenges that demanded immediate resolution. One of the primary concerns was regarding the safety inspection and maintenance of the vehicle. Despite assurances of a thorough maintenance check and oil change before my long drive from Vancouver to Prince George, the Carfax report failed to reflect these promises. The dealer presented a maintenance invoice dated August 17, 2024, as proof of inspection, citing a delay in updating the Carfax system. However, to date, this crucial information remains unrecorded. I implored Hyundai Boundary for a clear timeline for rectifying this discrepancy and, if left unaddressed, insisted on the dealership covering the expenses for an independent inspection. Regrettably, my requests have fallen on deaf ears. Moreover, the requirement to purchase an accessory package revealed duplications, as some items i.e. wheel lock, mud gards and ruber mats may have already been installed on the demonstration car. Despite this, the cargo tray specified in the package was missing. After multiple attempts to reach out, Omid's appology and solution was for me to buy the missing cargo tray elsewhere. Regrettably, the reimbursement process remains unfulfilled, even after following the given instructions and submitting the invoice. The evident lack of commitment to fulfilling promises and the disregard for customer concerns have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I earnestly hope that Hyundai Boundary takes swift action to rectify these issues and prioritize customer satisfaction moving forward. More

If you have an Electric or Hybrid Hyundai stay far away from this service department! Not only are their “Factory Certified Red Seal” Service Technicians incompetent and not knowledgeable about Hyundai’ from this service department! Not only are their “Factory Certified Red Seal” Service Technicians incompetent and not knowledgeable about Hyundai’s Hybrids but their Service Manager (Tim Wong) and Service Advisor (Shawn Wu) lack customer service and technical knowledge that any service advisor should have. I brought my vehicle in to have its Engine Clutch Actuator Fluid replaced, but their technicians instead replaced the Transmission Fluid. The requested Engine Clutch Actuator Fluid replacement was documented in the service appointment, and the service advisor supposedly checked with a technician to confirm the service - yet they still failed and replaced the fluid of the incorrect system. After replacing the incorrect fluid, they still had the fallacy of presenting me with a $367.47 bill. Such disappointing and mediocre service from this Hyundai Dealer; hopefully my complaint with Hyundai Canada will have a better outcome than that with their Service Manager. More
