After visiting several dealerships of various manufacturers we were very pleased to meet Phil McLean at Ontario Hyundai, there were no pressure tactics and we were able to take our time in deciding whether to purchase. Our mechanic highly recommended Hyundai and told us which brands to avoid. We test drove several vehicles and with Phil’s assistance chose the features and options then finally the colour. The Santa Fe is well recognized for its creature comforts and value, it’s difficult to find negative reviews about it...unlike some other manufacturers which have entire websites dedicated to their issues. This was by far the best buying experience we’ve had of all the vehicle purchases we’ve made and we are happy to highly recommend Ontario Hyundai and specifically Phil McLean! More

Car Maintenance My battery wouldn't start and this had happened on numerous occasions. Battery was replaced at my last visit and I was told that this will solve the p My battery wouldn't start and this had happened on numerous occasions. Battery was replaced at my last visit and I was told that this will solve the problem and that it wound the happen again. Dropped of the car in the morning and they didn't look at it until the next day (no loaner vehicles were available). As always, when they call, it's a litany of issues that need to be addressed. I asked if these services were absolutely necessary and that it wasn't an 'upsell' tactic. I was told that "yes, these have to be done". Upon pick up of my vehicle late in the day and upon further inspection when I brought the car home, my car detailing wasn't done - they neglected the trunk of my vehicle entirely. Note that this is the SECOND time where they didn't clean the trunk or back of the seats. I spoke to the Manager of Customer Service to relay my concerns. I've had issues the last two visits and again, my THIRD visit proved to be expensive and the work wasn't completed properly. I know everyone is busy and the dealership is quite successful, but perhaps the volume of work is affecting their attention to detail. I also feel that women are taken advantage of. Personally, I don't know much about cars, but when I ask questions, I do expect an honest answer from my service provider, of whom I've dealt with for over 15 years. Extremely disappointed and of course the Manager of Customer Service is going to side with the Service department. Unfortunately he didn't make it right and three strikes you're out. I will never deal with this dealership again. They've lost my trust and there's definitely a lack of confidence. Companies become successful because of their customers. Perhaps you're too big now, that you provide sub standard service to some. Disappointed and disillusioned. Never again. More
