Although she'd seen better days, she still retained hints of the regal beauty she once was. She was nothing more than a base model but what she lacked in options and basic comfort she made up in pure manliness. She'd recently taken a hit to her side so I went to the collision centre looking for a quote to ge her fixed. Soon after I was introduced to Derek Desmarais. Derek immediately looked past the rust and flaking paint, the squeaky brakes, mysterious stains and strange odours and saw the Freestar for what she was. A classic. "They don't make' em like that anymore" he said. Or maybe he said Ford doesn't make Freestars anymore... I don't remember, but the important things was that he knew I was a man who appreciated the finer things in life. As the collision team took pics and oohed and awed over the Freestar, Derek and I talked trucks...and life. He immediately saw that I was a man looking to leave the mini van days behind and jump into an F150. There was only one problem...convincing the wife. A couple of visits and test drives later Derek managed to do something that I had spent 20 years trying to do. He convinced my wife that not only are trucks "cool" , they're completely family functional too. Derek was a pleasure to deal with, answered all my questions promptly, and really laid off the annoying tactics many sales people use in the auto industry. An honest guy. In the end we kept the Freestar AND bought the truck. Some classics can't be let go. More

Go elsewhere!!!! This is my first experience with Nathan Jenner and it will be my last! It was the most condescending and forced sale I have been put through. I figur This is my first experience with Nathan Jenner and it will be my last! It was the most condescending and forced sale I have been put through. I figuratively and literally did not purchase the vehicle because of his salesmanship or lack there of. At the beginning I felt drawn in by a smile and simple knowledge base of the vehicle itself, but once I started asking questions I felt like I was being judged by him. Every question I asked I got an eye roll or yet again another condescending comment. It genuinely upset me because I don't care where I go and how much money it is that i investing in, I deserve positive customer service. I went there ready to spend 20 thousand dollars and was faced with a terrible customer service experience. After the attempt of a sale I immediately left the dealership feeling upset because I didn't get the car I wanted and because I was greatly mistreated due to not having a knowledge base. It was the most unfair experience of my life and I will never step foot in the oakridge ford dealership again. I urge you to never spend your time with Nathan Jenner as he is an absolute joke of a salesman. More
Got us into a FORD! We were recently looking to purchase a new vehicle. Our family had decided on another Ford as we have always loved our FORD vehicles. After some bro We were recently looking to purchase a new vehicle. Our family had decided on another Ford as we have always loved our FORD vehicles. After some browsing on the lot, Derek quickly approached us and showed us what was available. Took us for some test drives and got us the deal we wanted and in the vehicle we wanted. Derek was quick to answer any of our questions and also not afraid to seek out the answer to a question he didn't have the answer to, which we appreciated. He was able to walk us thru setting up some functions on the vehicle when we picked it up and made sure that our new car was detailed to perfection! A really good experience overall! More

A real class act My wife and I were shopping for our very first pickup truck. To be honest, we were dreading dealing with another salesman who didn't care one bit about us, but only about making a quick buck. Well, out walks Derek Desmairas from Oakridge Ford and he changed our minds completely about having to deal with someone selling cars. Derek was completely honest with us and was a real straight shooter. Not once did we ever feel pushed into anything. Derek was knowledgeable about the trucks we were looking at and if he ever ran into a situation where he wasn't sure about a question I asked him, he wouldn't try to make something up. Instead, he would look into the question and get back to us. Derek made our first experience buying a new truck completely pleasant and my wife and I couldn't be more happy with his service. He's continued to stay in contact with us to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Thanks for a great experience, Derek! More

Bria This was our first car together and we were pretty nervous about it. We didn't know what to expect but in the end we got what we wanted and more. Brian was a world of help. He showed us what options we had, helped us weigh what was best for us. He got us the vehicle that we wanted ( brand new focus ) all the bells and whistles we wanted. Both Brian and Charles were great to us and we will definitely go right back to them. We will recommend the team at Oakridge Ford for anyone looking for a car because no one will have better customer service than them. Thank you to Brian and Charles for all their help and support. Almost scammed by service department I was lucky to get away from this scam. My Ford Flex went in for lock sensors that were malfunctioning. The doors were closed but the display woul I was lucky to get away from this scam. My Ford Flex went in for lock sensors that were malfunctioning. The doors were closed but the display would show and beep constantly showing that the door was still open. My car was dropped off first thing in the morning and I was shuttled home shortly after. I was called from service late afternoon and advised that the sensors needed to be removed and cleaned. This process would take 2 hours and between parts and labor it would cost just under $300. My car had just under 62,000kms and the warranty would only cover till 60,000kms so I was advised that I was no longer covered even though my car had gone in for the same issues, under warranty, months before. When I was told the process and price, I told the service advisor not to bother doing the work and that I would look into doing it myself. I was told that the car could be picked up any time and the conversation ended. I was called back 10 minutes later by the same rep and was told that he went to speak to his supervisor and after looking into the matter, they found out that the problem IS covered thru warranty and that I can go and get the car in 20min! So, when I was paying for the service, it was 2 hours of work but when I said to forget it, all of a sudden its covered and it only toke 20 minutes??!! In all fairness, i'm not sure if it was the service rep, manager or Ford itself that trains their reps to scam customers this way and over-charge customers for something that is covered and does not require the hours billed. Since that appointment, which was only a few months ago, I still have the same issue. Its obvious that a cleaning is not the issue and I strongly encourage other customers to investigate the issues before agreeing to pay whatever they’re told over the phone. More
