Bad Finish to my Maintenance Plan This was my final service in my play, and while the Service Attendant was courteous I was disappointed at the prospect of a minimum charge simply to e This was my final service in my play, and while the Service Attendant was courteous I was disappointed at the prospect of a minimum charge simply to explore a problem I had brought forward. I had discovered one door body with a large amount of water inside, days after a rainstorm, where the window was fully closed. I am suspicious of the exterior sill seal, however, the attendant was not able to tell me if the part / labour was covered under my warranty. My exposure was 1 hour ($155), simply to look, where I'm convinced it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. I don't have money to waste, and find it very disappointing that I needed to guard my wallet while visiting your business. This is where dealer garages lose my business, and demonstrate themselves more interested in "finding" warranty work, and adequately caring for the customer and their vehicle. Now, I will be visiting a local private shop, mere blocks from North Star Ford, that has gained my trust in the past, and does not charge for a simple, quick look at the seal around the window if they discover it won't need to be fixed. This hint at things to come from Service, along with the discourteous treatment I've received from Greg Aimer in Sales, and the absence of follow-up I would have liked from Sherry (community relations), have fouled my impression of the culture at North Star Ford, and also for the brand. I still like my truck, but I'll be looking to move to a different make while this vehicle is still worth something. Honest and caring saves the day every time. Its pretty dang hard to get a 5-star rating from me, and today they earned it. I brought my vehicle in for a problem that really did not appear to Its pretty dang hard to get a 5-star rating from me, and today they earned it. I brought my vehicle in for a problem that really did not appear to be related to some past work I had at the dealership. I asked to speak to the foreman, and I got Mike. I reviewed the issue with Mike, and he really didn't think it was related to the past work (I really didn't think so either), and rather then tell me just to book the car (like every other shop would have done), he took the time to consult with one of his techs. The tech had dealt with this rare issue a few times prior and it was just a matter of resetting a component. Thanks to a knowledgeable technician and a foreman who cares, I got my issue addressed immediately -- which was great because I needed it fixed to sell it, and the first person to see the car later that night bought it. I know of other shops that probably would have had me paying for the replacement of the control card for the windows. They have a great team over there, and well deserving my 5-star rating today! More

Excellent Customer Service ! I walked in a bit lost and Cassandra made eye contact with me right away and called me to her service desk. She asked all the right questions and listened to my explanations of what I thought were the issues what the heck my car. She quickly grabbed the paperwork needed and came to my car to get the VIN to get a work order started. She explained everything about when to bring in the car and that she would be in contact with me as soon as she had any info. Excellent service !!! More
