DO NOT SHOP HERE, This is a long ready but please read all of it. I see a lot of 5-star reviews on here. I'm wondering if they're honest. The dealership will run circles around you with numbers. They h all of it. I see a lot of 5-star reviews on here. I'm wondering if they're honest. The dealership will run circles around you with numbers. They hide all costs in monthly payments and term length. Remember folks, biweekly equals 26 payments in a fiscal year. 26 payments vs 24. They won't tell you that though. They won't give you a breakdown of total interest owed, or gross profits they are benefiting from but instead talk circles around the subject. Very little transparency. I'm happy with the vehicle I have and the warranty I purchased but I'm inexperienced and feel taken advantage of. I'm writing this as I left feeling insulted, belittled and angry in how they took advantage of my money. I want to warn the next, inexperienced consumer to be very careful about going into Northland Volkswagen. They all seem very nice, and they are, but make no mistake, they are 100% after your money. Prior to shopping here, ensure you understand, 1. Compounding/Simple Interest Rates, 2. Gross profits to the dealership (what that means to them), 3. Be VERY careful in biweekly payments and term length, 4. Do your homework prior to going into the dealership, and don't stray from your budget. After I posted this review, they responded and then proceeded to delete my response to their response as I'm only allowed one review so I'm adding to this one. This was my response to their response. In regard to my previous review, I was contacted by Northland Volkswagen. They had offered me new mudflaps for my truck in order to take my review down. In addition to that, the GSM said I needed to give him a 5 star review. I declined and won't be taking my mudflaps. My sales advisor was great. His name was Alex. He worked with me 100%. However, once you get to the Financial Advisors office, that's where they make their money. I thought I had prepared myself, however you would expect the team there not to jump on a lack of experience. I refused to take my review down for $300 in mudflaps in hopes that it will prevent this from happening to someone else. It makes you wonder how many of these 5 star reviews are honest or bought. Please shop elsewhere, Good Luck More
