Very Smooth GTI buying experience I called the dealership with general questions about when the new 2015 GTI's were to be in stock. I talked with Matt DaSilva who immediately scheduled an appointment with me. We sat down to talk numbers and availability - very easy guy to work with. It seemed like Matt was equally as excited as I was about the new GTI's arriving. He worked very hard to get me exactly the price I was looking to pay, for the options that I needed, and was up to date on all the Specials Volkswagen was offering at the time to save me even more money. Once I had committed to the vehicle, he regularly kept me informed on the status of my specific car and when it would arrive, and ensured the pickup happened smoothly. Since I have owned the car, he has checked up on me on 3 separate occasions (one to tell me that he had bought the same car I did!), just to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I've already sent one of my friends to buy a new Volkswagen with Matt since my purchase, and intend to buy my next Volkswagen from him in 3 years time. Matt is genuine and respectful, and really seems to care about his customers and their loyalty. Highly recommended. More

2015 Golf GTI with Performance Package I just took delivery of a 2015 GTI with Performance-Package. When I dropped by the dealership in November 2014 I was met by Matt Da Silva. I currently I just took delivery of a 2015 GTI with Performance-Package. When I dropped by the dealership in November 2014 I was met by Matt Da Silva. I currently use a 2008 GTI so wanted to see what the 2015 GTI had to offer. With a few questions Matt was able to size where my knowledge was at. He quickly filled in the knowledge gaps for me within 6 minutes. For another 5 minutes Matt walked me through all financing options, I was already sold by the time he was done. Matt who looks like a GTI himself could earn a speeding ticket while sitting at his desk. I made a deposit and placed an order in December. He told me the fully loaded spec I ordered would be manufactured and delivered to the dealership in February 2015. Come February Matt raised me at site outside Calgary to inform me that my baby had arrived, I wasn't too sure I wanted that child any more but Matt told me DNA test on the baby proved I am the true biological father of this mint GTI. He told me my name was written all over it and I should come complete the paperwork when I returned from site. I did and I have not been the same ever since in a positive kind of way. Two days to taking delivery I asked Matt if I could take a GTI-PP for a spin so I could have an idea of what I was buying, right away he pulled out a demo GTI-PP and off we went. Words cannot describe the experience, that machine was devil, when I pushed the sports mode button it was as if the engine was replaced with a demon, the whole car seemed to be on anabolic steroids. The kick you feel when you push that pedal down is something between exhilaration and intoxication. After the spin with the pocket-rocket I earned an astronaut license, I was ready to take that machine to outer space but Matt stopped me. Bottom-line, I give the dealership 6-stars, I give the car 7-stars and I give Matt the spanking Da Silva 10-stars. Thank you Northland VW. More

Golf GTI I just purchased a 2013 GTI from this dealership, and this is the best car dealer experience I've had so far. Mind you, I previously purchased a 2012 I just purchased a 2013 GTI from this dealership, and this is the best car dealer experience I've had so far. Mind you, I previously purchased a 2012 Fiat/Chrysler product, and had the worst dealer/ownership experience of my life, so the bar was set really really really really low. But alas, the crew at Northland VW have restored my faith in the car-purchasing process, and I even got some self defense and survival tips from the delivery coordinator! If that alone doesn't justify the reasonable documentation fee, I do not know what else would! Also Guy Trahan wears really neat hats. But seriously awesome dealership, low pressure, quick turn around, very knowledgeable "car guys," all of the things my previous Fiat/Chrysler experience was not. 11 out of 10, Seven Stars, etc etc. -DSG- More

Doug did a great job explaining all my options and was very knowledgeable about the whole process. As this was my first car buying experience, Doug did a great job walking me through all the in and outs. He was very patient with me as i was learning about how to buy a car. When i first inquired about the car Doug was great about getting back to me quickly and was always good about returning my phone calls or emails whenever i had questions. i am very glad i was able to work with Doug and be able to interact with such friendly staff at Northland Volkswagen. i would highly recommend them to family and friends. you will enjoy your car buying experience with these great people. EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS I went to Northland Volkswagen in search of a specific Beetle in terms of color, options, etc. Within a day it was found.
