I wandered around the showroom, sat in a few cars, wandered out to try and find the used lot, came back in, stood around, looked at a few more cars in the showroom. I was probably there at least a half hour, and not one person acknowledged my presence, not even to say everyone was busy and someone would be with me shortly. I moved on and bought a brand new car elsewhere. If you can't even get someone to sell you a car, imagine what the service department must be like. More

This car looked clean and was not interpreted by me to be a "junker". As the salesman was showing me the car and saying it had no accident history, I pointed out to him a dent and another scratch in the paint around the drivers side wheelwell. He tried to change the subject immediatly. When I opened the hatchback I noticed another Crack in the plastic trim surrounding the hatch. I was willing to overlook this because I liked the features of this car and went ahead with the purchase. Shortly after buying the car I was driving to Ontario in the summer and my girlfriend pointed out all these areas on the front bumper where the paint was peeling off. This car had 24, 000k'so on it when I purchased it and at the time we noticed the peeling paint I had only had the car a little more than a month. I called Northland Kia to express my dissatisfaction and they told me the car had been in a hail storm but wouldn't admit repainting the front bumper. I think it's funny that the hail storm only affected the paint on the front bumper and nowhere else ! I have photos of paint runs around the bumper. I don't need this cap in my life and, although I am not the type to complain, I want satisfaction from this dealership and won't give up until I get this peeling paint issue resolved by Ash, who is the Manager of Northland Kia. I feel terrible every time I look at my car and see this peeling paint everywhere and will in effect remove this undesirable posting about Northland Kia when I am finally contacted by someone at the dealership to rectify this outstanding issue. I am done arguing the point with you people at this dealership. I only want to receive a pleasant phone call from you saying you will pay for the repainting of my front bumper at your expense. I am calling the dealership Monday morning to advise them of this negative review and to update my contact information with them, so as to get a satisfactory response to this. In the meantime, until this gets resolved,do yourself a favor and do not buy any vehicle from Northland Kia. Ash ? More

The sales person was very inexperienced and did not know much about the product. The vehicle was not there the first day we came to look at it because the manager had taken it home. We were advised to come back the next day for a test drive. We were then told NOT to open the glove box because it contained the manager's personal belongings, and there were personal items in the trunk as well. Not a very nice feeling to be driving someone else's car with their personal stuff in it. We were very impressed with the vehicle itself, however were not prepared to make the decision on the spot. We were pressured to make the decision because "this is the most popular vehicle and there other people that are coming to look at it". And by the way, if we wanted to come back tomorrow, the vehicle was not going to be there, because the manager will be taking it home again. So .... if you have the MOST popular vehicle that many people come to look at.... one may think that it should be availabe on the lot for sale? In short, dissapointed with sales person's knowledge, the unprofessional conduct of the sales manager and the fact that as a consumer we are expected to make our buying decision based on the schedule of when the vehicle would actually be on the lot available to be bought. We will be making our purchase elsewhere! More
