Very dishonest and Shady dealership Bought a used car in January, they told me they registered the car for me. A month later luckily I checked with AMA who confirmed not only did they Bought a used car in January, they told me they registered the car for me. A month later luckily I checked with AMA who confirmed not only did they not register it, they lied about it having an out of province inspection. Luckily I was not stopped by the police. I talked to salesman and their finance dept who said "oh ya it was done in December" . Well AMA confirmed hat was false as they would have had to register it within 14 days. I asked for reimbursement of the costs associated with it but will not give me a response. Very dishonest and shady dealership.. More

As I was transacting with Ash on the finances and papers, he asked me if I want a remote starter for my car. It will be an add-on feature which I agreed for an additional cost of around $500+. After papers were done, it's time to bring the vehicle home. At the time of handover, I asked Vinh where the remote starter is and he asked Ash and replied that it will follow because they need to order. Fine and good for me. Vinh also told me that can be done together during my first service as well. After a month, I called Vinh to check and he said it hasn't come. Months pass by with various followups on the remote starter, until I reached 6k km and it is time for my 1st service. I followup and Vinh told me there is no remote starter in the package. We further brought up the discussion to Ash since he was the one closing the deal and Ash gave me the same response. He kept insisting it was not part of the deal which is true that is why I was asked if I wanted it to be added. Considering the financials were correct but the thought that you let the customer believe and not delivering... that is not a customer service. If Ash forgot to key in the feature, should that be the customer's fault? Very disappointed and if you do not want to be a victim of this POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO NOT BUT FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Ash is a manager of this store and very poor in resolving the issue. No word of honour!!! More

Sales person misrepresented several features of the vehicle, Sales Manager promised a $1,000 3M paint protection package but provided only basic package. Finance Manager had the wrong VIN on the Bill of Sale (!). 3M installation was very poor (bubbles, misalignment) and Service Manager defended the shoddy work in addition to providing incorrect information on auto paint protection in general (as I later found out). TO top it off, the General Manager tried to extract more money from me to get the 3M paint protection I was promised! My experience was bad from from to back and top to bottom. I regret buying a vehicle from Northland. More

No matter what we said, they would not call off the deal. we negotiated again and worked out on another deal. I had other commitments I had to get to so my wife and I signed. We didnt want to but pretty much had to in order to get out of the office. Winter Tire offer: They are Frost Extreme Tires, which are budget winter tires. Noticed that when the vehicle was not gripping properly during winter. They mentioned the tires were worth $800...a little research, these tires cost max $300. Blizzaks cost $500 at costco which includes installation and balancing. The Car: Washer fluid leak-went through a bottle of washer fluid every 3 days. told the dealer, they looked at it. it was warranty work Speedometer - I took the car out on a road trip. I noticed when I did 110km/h, I was actually doing 103km/h. I checked my GPS/Phone, both confirmed car was going 7Km/h slower. brought it up with the dealer Alignment - is off. when driving on the highway, i noticed vehicle leering to the left allot. told the dealer. Alignment was going to cost me $90. This is A BRAND NEW CAR!!! why is the alignment off?? Tire Swap - Winter to All seasons - cost is $130 as the tires are not on the rims. I will get it done, but starting this year, I am going to try and sell the budget tires and buy Blizzak's from Costco. For swapping, Costco charges $12/tire if not on the rim. $48 in total compared to $130. Service Hours - for warranty work, only open M-F. I was told on Saturdays the licensed mechanics don't work and Saturday's was just for regular 'maintenance work (oil, etc...). My wife had to make other arrangements on her own to take 6 children to school. I miss my Honda Pilot! Never experienced such a hassle & inconveniences. More

I said go ahead fix these three things ' monday morning at 8:00. At 3:00 monday afternoon they called me with prices ' I thought they were calling me to say the car was done ' oh no ' calling to say they would be billing me $195 for diagnostic evaluation to find my car check engine light was on and idle cooling fan was not working / exact reasons I booked my kia soul in the first place . They then quoted me approx $1100 to repair those three items I agreed on . Four days later they told me the kia soul was complete ' come pick it up' and oh by the way ' my bill is $1960. After some augueing ' the service rep told me the three quoted prices for three items fixed did not include timing belt ?? I agreed to have three things done with 3 prices given. They would not answer what the extra $600/$700 billing was for ' but payed only the quoted approx $1100 and drive away . I will never return to northlands kia for anything ' service or sales . Ps. I am shopping for a brand new vehicle befor year end ' but won't be from northlands kia if this is how they treat their existing kia owners. More
