Hello Samuel. This is Brian Hoecht. I am the General Manager of the dealership. I want you to know that we all do care about your experience and perception of our dealership and your experience. However, some of the statements you made above are just not accurate. The safety certificate requirement for tires matching is that both on the front are the same and both on the back are the same as each other. It is not an all 4 the same requirement. As she purchased a 2009 Journey with 150,000 kms on it in June 2015 for $7,498 + tax (which is the retail price we advertised it for) and 11 months later she was offered $5,000, I don't see how there is an insinuation of taking advantage that is appropriate. Trade-ins are not done at retail value and the vehicle is six months and another model year older now? We replaced the front sway bar links too. If you would like us to look at the struts or assess what the current problem is, we'd be happy to. And I will look at it without the usual diagnostic charge (the $71). After we have a complete assessment by a technician of what the current problem is, we can have a conversation regarding next steps and costs to sort out the concerns with the vehicle. You may call me at the dealership to discuss or arrange a service appointment to come in, but please let me know as well as our Service Manager, Sarah Finlay so that we may get involved personally.

Hello Michael. This is Brian Hoecht. I am the General Manager of the dealership. I want you to know that we do care about our customer experience such that I ensure follow up is done when consumers feel as you do. I have interviewed the individuals involved with your visit to our store from several different points of view: what was said to you regarding your trade and its value, and your overall experience. There are currently 14 vehicles like yours (2012 Sonata) for sale with kms ranging from 48k-115k. At retail, their values range from a low of $12,600 to $17,991. Your vehicle had $65kms. No dealer out there (who isn't looking to go out of business) provides retail value for trade-ins. Not sure where the $18,500 value you arrived with came from as there is no vehicle for sale by a dealer with that value even at retail. I do note that the lien payoff from your worksheet was $15,500, but the lien value on a recent model year vehicle rarely is its trade value unless you put a sizeable sum down when you purchased it. Additionally, your vehicle had a declared rear end accident repair so regardless of its appearance, that is a mandatory pass-along disclosure which we as a dealer have to provide to any purchaser who was to buy your vehicle from us. When you were here you also indicated that you had just begun shopping and did not yet have a value on your trade from another dealer. As of today, the vehicle you were here to consider purchasing (a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with only 53kms) has only been in our inventory since Dec 19, 2015. In our customer activity tracking system, there is both a customer who was in on that vehicle the day before you were here, and another on the day you were here. Such things do happen. Anyway, I'm not writing this reply to argue with you, merely to convey that as a dealership we do care about our customer experience and do follow up such matters. If you would like to discuss this further with me you may reach me at 905-881-5002.

Your are missing the point and let me be clear. Your dealership tried to rip me off by $3885.00 and yet you go around in circles to try to make it appear that no wrong was done by your sales person and manager. I wanted $15k for a trade in and you offered a little less then $12k this went back and forth and finally your sales person and manager agreed to giving me $15k but when the numbers were examined you were only giving me $12k and made it look like $15k by adding the difference to my payment. When confronted they SAID THAT THEY TRIED this!!!!!! So can we not say they there was lies and deception here? YES YES!!!! Nothing was done to correct the problem. I'm not an easy person to fool but boy you almost had me. As mentioned I would stay away from these people. I would strongly suggest that you watch the numbers and ask lots of questions. That's when they started to pressure me.
