They answered all my questions and were upfront about the limitations and ways to extend my battery life, etc. All staff were helpful. I was a special case. I lived out of town they were able to easily accommodate my situation. The Niro EV is great and I’ll likely never go back to a gas powered car again. If I buy a Kia EV again, I’ll definitely call these guys first (even before my local in town dealer). Thanks guys! More
This dealership keeps getting worse. I regret ever buying or taking my car for service. I was lured by the promise of a 2 year lease, only to told the minimum was 3 years. Upsold an e I regret ever buying or taking my car for service. I was lured by the promise of a 2 year lease, only to told the minimum was 3 years. Upsold an extended warranty that the wasn’t honoured when needed. My partner then bought a new car in which the electronics failed; Warranty only 3 years, so not covered at 42 months. Had to chase them for 2 months to order parts I was willing to pay (Part was 4 days shipping from Ontario). Required service every 6000 km, rather than 12000 per owners manual because driving 15 km daily to work in the city is “harsh conditions”. Routine maintenance takes 4+ hours, while you sit in the “lounge”, only to discover your car was parked over in the Rona lot 2 hours ago. Go to a different Kia dealership, or even better by a VW or Tesla. More

Not happy, Moved plans to view a vehicle confirmed with dealership to test drive, before I moved off to test I was told the car was sold and couldn’t test drive. Pretty bad way to deal with potential custo dealership to test drive, before I moved off to test I was told the car was sold and couldn’t test drive. Didn't realize that for years NS Kia had been charging for a service that was only to be checked on the service plan! In addition.. on my last service.. they were to check the battery... it appeared that for a service that was only to be checked on the service plan! In addition.. on my last service.. they were to check the battery... it appeared that they looked under the hood to see if it was still there. Yup.. it was.. the battery died while on a trip... it was 11 years old!!! Really people... for every service since I bought the vehicle from you ... in 2009... you failed me big time. More
The service department is totally incompetent. My 2019 EV Sol was brought in 5 times, to simply repair the electric door latch. They ordered the parts wrong on 3 separate occasions, and then lost My 2019 EV Sol was brought in 5 times, to simply repair the electric door latch. They ordered the parts wrong on 3 separate occasions, and then lost the original parts in the process. My car was returned to me for nearly 3 weeks with the entire door handle missing, covered with paper tape. Then they needed to keep the car for 5 days while they re-ordered the parts they lost. I actually still don’t have my car back yet, and this started 6 months ago. Imagine if my car had a serious problem that needed repairing….? More
Our family was looking for a car for our daughter and son-in-law with special needs and we had some very special requirements. Dave - the sales manager and the sales person David were attentive, and did son-in-law with special needs and we had some very special requirements. Dave - the sales manager and the sales person David were attentive, and did their very best to accommodate. It was with great joy that a KIa Rio was settled on. The rest of the purchase process was wonderfully handled by the entire team. Barb the finance manager is very pleasant and extremely proficient in her job and got us a good rate through KIA, and assisted with kindness and a gentle manner. Thank you to an amazing team!! More
I bought my car from North Shore Kia a little over 2 years ago. It’s a used car, so I know that it comes with the territory that issues may arise. However, the day after I bought the car, the engine lig years ago. It’s a used car, so I know that it comes with the territory that issues may arise. However, the day after I bought the car, the engine light came. New catalytic converter. It was covered by the 30 day warranty off the lot, but you’re telling me you didn’t notice this issue a day ago during your “intensive inspection”? 6 months go by, and the engine light comes on again. Surprise, new catalytic converter. They had replaced the previous one with a used one, without telling me, and then that one broke down as well. 3k job, on a car I already overpaid for. I stopped bringing my car in to be serviced here because the staff were so rude, sexist and careless. The most recent issue was with the clockspring in my steering wheel. Another shop had diagnosed it, and since it was covered by warranty I brought it back to Kia. I was then questioned, ignored and interrogated over the issue. After doing a second diagnosis, they started the work without approval from warranty and without my consent. Like many other individuals, I don’t have an extra 1k lying around to pay for a car issue when you’re expecting the issue to be covered due to safety (airbag). They had my car for 3 days, and while they may have fixed that issue, they sent me home with a completely crooked steering wheel. If I drove my car for 5 minutes, whatever person driving my car before me HAD to have noticed this issue. Now I’m sitting here after they “tried to squeeze me in” to take the steering wheel off and fix it. It’s been almost an hour. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE OR TAKE IT FOR SERVICE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A WOMAN. They will talk down to you, ignore you and gaslight you. Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I love my car, and it’s heartbreaking that I no longer feel safe driving it because of their awful work. More
