I had just purchased my Rav4 two months ago and I had to have a new battery installed because it was finished. I don't think I should have had to pay $500 when I only had my car for a couple of months. I f have a new battery installed because it was finished. I feel that they should have checked everything to make sure that the car was reliable, dependable and safe to drive. Thank goodness that the TWO times that my car would not start, I was in my driveway. The mechanics. if they had tested the battery the first time, would have discovered the battery problem the first time I took it in. In my opinion, since I only had the car a couple of months, I should not have had to pay for a new battery. I am not impressed. I have been dealing with Toyota for over 14 years (with my previous car) and I feel that I should have been treated better. More
