We had a problem with our 2011 Sonata dying on us, ya with less than 90K on it. We think I it may be related to a recall so we take it to Newmarket Hyundai. We told them that we had it at another service centre and only wanted the car checked for the recall. We told them not to run any diagnostics because we already did and knew what it would say. 1st issue - They go ahead and run the diagnostic, and want to charge me over $100 for it, the other garage didn’t charge me anything. 2nd issue - they tell me that they can’t run the check for the recall because they don’t have the right equipment, why not tell me on the phone? Also this recall has been outstanding for months and they don’t have the right equipment? 3rd issue – they tell me the problem either a ground wire going from the computer, and its covered under warrantee. Then the Service manager says its not a warrantee item. Another $110 4th issue – They tell me the problem may also be due to carbon build up in the throttle body. Really how would that cause the car to die with no warning? another $100 5th issue – they tell me that they noticed the car was hesitating and should have the transmission gear ratios reset. Really, what does that have to do with the car stalling on the highway? Now I’m confused….and btw that’s another $100. I know a fair bit about cars and can tell you this is pure money grab. Bottom line. They wanted over $400 and really couldn’t tell me it would solve the problem. After arguing with them I told them to put the car outside I’m taking it somewhere else, where they know what they are doing. BTW I purchased the car there and they were equally deceitful when I purchased the car. Told me one price then when I went to sign, changed the price and wouldn’t honor the original price that the Sale’s person quoted. I also have a friend that purchased a used car there and the ripped him off also. Sold a used car as never having been in an accident and there were clear signs of it being in a collision. Also the brakes were faulty after putting less than 5000Km on it. I would never use this dealer and I would never recommend them to anyone. More

Poor after sale service Need to improve service after sale. Bought 2011 Accent new in March, the car itself rate a 6 out of 10. Had clunk in front end, found out needed link Need to improve service after sale. Bought 2011 Accent new in March, the car itself rate a 6 out of 10. Had clunk in front end, found out needed link kit, told was common on this car also asked about warranty was quickly told sorry 4 years/ 60000. Had kit replaced by local mechanic ($220). Now starter is acting up, called fellow at another Hyundai dealer for answers. Told me my car was still under warranty 5 years/100000 and will replace starter, replace stop lamp switch (recall) and anything else they can find. REALLY TICKED OFF!!! More

Connor took me and my daughter for a test drive in a demo 2015 Tucson and he was just as excited to show us the car as we were to drive it learn about all the features. The next day I purchased the vehicle with Dan. What a great experience and friendly dealership. I was told once by a tow truck driver that they have NEVER towed a Hyundai in all their experience so I thought I would give one a try. I absolutely LOVE this vehicle and I have driven almost every make there is. More
