Not Impressed with Service Dept after many chances I bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot & had a positive experience with the sales person. I am a loyal customer to your service department, however since day 1 I bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot & had a positive experience with the sales person. I am a loyal customer to your service department, however since day 1 I have not been impressed at all with the customer service in your Service dept. . After initially buying my car the radio did not work and after several visits I was the one to advise your service dept that perhaps my radio didn't work as the antenna was missing from the car (which was the case). I let that go even after the man in Service was incredible rude to me and subsequently was advised that he no longer works there. So although I was not happy I still have had my car serviced at MacIver several times. My latest visit to your dealership was in a tow truck last night in the pitch black & pouring rain after my 18 month old Jeep died in the middle of an intersection at rush hour. I had no power, so no lights to warn other drivers that I was stuck. After waiting 30 minutes for a tow truck & having the police accompany me while I was stuck, I had the car towed to your dealership (where I purchased it). The battery was totally corroded and there was all kinds of 'guck' on it (in plain view). I had recently had my Jeep in for regular maintenance so I would have thought that a basic check would have been the battery. Although the service advisor who called me this morning was apologetic and polite (Kevin) and did not charge me for the new battery I feel compelled to write a review as I keep giving MacIver the benefit of the doubt and I keep feeling disappointed with the service on my car as well as the general customer service skills (politeness, etc). After this most recent and dangerous 'inconvenience', I will not be coming back to MacIver and will try another dealership who values my business. You have lost a most loyal customer. More

Frustratingly Horrible Service Experience I had a great experience right up to the point I picked up my new 2014 Dodge Caravan. I had it back in the dealership within 30 mins of taking deliver I had a great experience right up to the point I picked up my new 2014 Dodge Caravan. I had it back in the dealership within 30 mins of taking delivery. It has been back 6 more times for the same issue, in 3 months. I've escalated my issues to the service manager, the general manager, the owner and Chrysler Canada customer service Vehicle currently in the dealership for the past 6 days. I have yet to get a phone call from anyone on the status of replacing the vehicle or fixing it correctly. Frustrating/horrible experience all around. Really enjoy the vehicle when it works correctly. Still less than 1,100 kms on it and most of those driven by the staff at the dealership. We haven't even been able to take it farther than a few blocks in 3 months without an issue. All we wanted was a working, dependable vehicle for our 3 kids. We have never come close to that. More
