Mitsubishi Motors advertising presents an Eclipse Cross at an advertised price of $34,438 at Motorcity Mitsubushi in Whitby and depicts/describes a vehicle that appears to be the GT. However, when I attemp at an advertised price of $34,438 at Motorcity Mitsubushi in Whitby and depicts/describes a vehicle that appears to be the GT. However, when I attempted to obtain the vehicle represented in the advertisement at the advertised price, there was no acknowledgement that this is a serious error and they claim just a third party software mishap. This is not simply a matter of a consumer misunderstanding a price. The advertisement creates a reasonable impression that a particular vehicle configuration is available for the advertised price when, in fact, it is not. The distinction between the advertised vehicle and the vehicle to which the lower price actually applies is material and directly affects the consumer's purchasing decision. More

I tried to explain why I didn't want a new one but they didn't respect my wishes. After signing the plate portion they had the plates deemed destroyed and got me new plates stating that I must have done that part myself but the date the ministry have me was the day I gave them the plates and signed the contract. On top of that then they made me pay for the item that I didn't even want in the first place. And made side comments about putting the old dirty plates on my wall if they meant that much to me. The worst part of the whole experience was that I received financing through TD which they claimed offered a credit building service so although I had to sign with a high interest rate now that after one year of consecutive payments and no problems TD promises to lower the rate... When I spoke with the representative at TD he said I was the second person to call and inquire about that in the same week and that there was no such thing. However I have already signed the contract and am stuck with what's in it... When you end up paying 47k for a car you should get what you asked for especially when it doesn't cost them extra... At 39 years old and after driving 8 different cars it's insulting to have someone tell you what you want.... On the way out the door one of the service guys mentioned I picked a good car suitable for me because it's nice and simple... Thanks nothing like ending your day 47k in the hole , disappointed and insulted... More
