Our service manager has been made aware of your experience and suggested you call in to get addressed as there may be some confusion.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. I looked into it with our service manager to see what we could do different and improve upon your experience. In this case the diagnosis and repair required a specific technician in order for it to be accepted by warranty. Typically with electrical issues the promise time is moved to 16:30 to allow for communications with the OEM, parts sourcing and replacing, etc. If you are getting maintenance work complete that does not require warranty with the OEM and you are short on time it is recommended you ask to be a waiter rather than the 16:30 pick up they mentioned when the appointment was booked. We appreciate everyone has a busy schedule and wants to be on their way as quickly as possible. We continue to work with the OEM for warranty and continue to make progress on effeciency with those repairs. Thank you for visiting the dealership.

Sorry but I will never understand why I did not get notified AT ALL that I would be able to get my truck back way later than I had been told. No one told me any of what you wrote above. And the same thing happened a few months ago for different reasons. Your clients' time is more valuable than what you seem to think.

We appreciate you explaining your experience Kathy. Many of our customers want to see a technician waiting for their vehicle at their set appointment time, however, it is not possible. We do our best to get the vehicles diagnosed, corrected and returned based on getting it to the most qualified technician, availability of parts and time to repair. I have reviewed this with our service manager and the recommendation is to take one of the "waiter" appointments so the team knows you will need the vehicle sooner than the promise time. We continue to work on finding a balance between appointment time and promise time as we cannot have techs standing idle waiting for vehicles to arrive, sickness, and complexity of some appointments keep the shop requirements dynamic. I have reviewed this with our service manager for feedback and the recommendation is to book a "waiter" appointment so the team knows you are going to need your vehicle back sooner than the promise time.
