This review is for Mercedes Bend North Vancouver From a Great Beginning to a Disappointing End On July 4th, I came across what seemed like the perfect vehicle: a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 Diesel with a Great Beginning to a Disappointing End On July 4th, I came across what seemed like the perfect vehicle: a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 Diesel with just 47,000 km. I reached out to the salesperson, Hamez, who was professional and helpful. I made an offer of $23,000 (the listed price was $23,900), and shortly after, Hamez confirmed that his sales manager had accepted my offer. I paid a $1,500 deposit, signed the sale agreement, and we agreed the vehicle would be held for me until July 25th, 2025, to accommodate the closing of my mortgage. I had clearly communicated that I would be financing the purchase either personally or through my company, which was never presented as an issue during the transaction. However, on July 8th, I received a call from Hamez saying the vehicle had been sold—per instruction from the general manager, Rashid. I was shocked. Despite having a signed agreement and deposit in place, the vehicle was sold without my consent or even a courtesy call. When I contacted Rashid for clarification, he responded: “At no point did you mention to Chris (from finance) when doing an application that you will pay cash if your financing doesn't go through.” And based on that, he concluded: “We will refund your money, as I will not hold the car until July 25th while you sort out your mortgage.” This decision completely disregarded our agreement. Why accept a deposit and promise to hold the car if there was no intention to honor it? If the deposit had been non-refundable, I would have understood the risk and made my arrangements accordingly. What’s most frustrating is the lack of basic respect and professionalism. Rashid, as the general manager, had the opportunity to resolve the situation with courtesy but instead chose to ignore our agreement and offered no apology for the inconvenience caused. Even after I offered to pay in full and fly to Vancouver immediately to finalize the deal, I was told the vehicle was already sold. I booked the flight and Hamez told again that I’d need to direct all further communication to Rashid at RWahed@mbnorthvancouver.ca. In the end, all I got back was my deposit—and a lot of disappointment. No apology. No alternative solution. Just a broken promise and an empty experience. Mercedes-Benz stands for luxury and trust. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite—unprofessional conduct, lack of communication, and no respect for a customer who acted in good faith. I truly hope the person who purchased my vehicle (VIN #WDCGG0EB4FG432234) enjoys it. To the team at Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver: This was not the standard anyone expects from your brand. I had the pleasure to speak with Alex Pautler, the assistant Service Manager. This was definitely the guy to speak to with my complicated case where I have been charged for engine sensor 1500$ at 3rd assistant Service Manager. My 2013 ML350 always got another issue after several days when regular maintenance or repair. 1. Got heavy noise after replace exhaust pipe. 4. Got sensor error after regular service. All repair costs are so expensive. even they did nothing cost $350 for diagnose ( just connect to tablet to read something, it almost takes no time and no cost ) I strongly not recommend to buy any Mercedes-Benz cars. Except you have enough money to burn. More

Never have I felt this good purchasing a car. The SUV is a phenomenal machine, however the overall experience of purchasing a Benz contributes to euphoric state I was in driving away that day. It is easy to see why everyone is so proud to own the Mercedes brand as the excellence of the employees also contributes to the status of the Mercedes brand. Totally over joyed with my new car !!!!
