I brought in our GLE 43 AMG for B service and purchased an additional prepaid maintenance package. I was told I was only able to purchase two more prepaid maintenance due to KM. We only have 119 000 km on an additional prepaid maintenance package. I was told I was only able to purchase two more prepaid maintenance due to KM. We only have 119 000 km on our vehicle so that was unfortunate. I also mentioned to the service advisor Nathan Surkan, I had seen a malfunction code pop up on the dash. At the time, I thought it was something to do with lane assist, I was driving when the code was displayed on the console so I did not have much time to read it. I was charged over 200$ for diagnostics on top of my prepaid maintenace and also pre paid extended warranty for them to "investigate". The paperwork said I did not have lane assist which is fair, but there did not seem to be any conclusion to the message I saw. I was basically told it was a fault code and not much other explanation. A couple days after service was completed, the code popped up again but this time I was parked so I was able to take a picture "blind spot assist innoperative". So I was basically charged over 200$ for diagnostic and the problem was not identified or rectified. We had also complained about a noise coming out of our ventilation system and we were told it was a blower fan. The service advisor told me he did not know how to properly submit a claim to our extended warranty for that specific part as it did not show up on his end. It has been over a week and still no response from dealership. Pretty lame service and long response time for the ammount of $$$ I paid for this extended warranty recommended by our previous service advisor Ryan Boyie. Ryan always communicated very well to us and made sure our issues were resolved, I feel like we were left with unresolved problems and a hefty bill this time around. Charging your clients over 200$ diagnostic to tell them we dont know, probably just a faulty code is totally unacceptable. To add to the poor experience, the day before the service , I was contacted by sales rep. Kevin Nguyen. He mentioned they were interested in buying our vehicle for a trade in. I told Kevin to let me know how much they were offering us for our trade in and he said he would get back to me thw following day... he never did. I think I will be conducting business with the West loaction going forward. More
