If circumstances are different in the future, I would definitely go back and consider buying from them at some point in the future. Main reasons - I walked in off the street with the intent of seeing/driving a specific used vehicle they had in their inventory. No intention to buy today - which I told them up front. Still, Lax worked hard to answer my questions and do their best to try and get me to buy, without giving me the sense of too much pressure. For example, the vehicle was actually at a different location as it had just come in. But he found it, got it ready and got me over for a test drive. He did pull both carproof and service records and went through these with me. He did get their service dept to run through my current vehicle to assess trade-in value as I asked, just so I would have "full information" as I did my research. He did ask for a "price to get me to buy today" which I was reluctant to do. I feel like, if I had declined he would not have pressed. I did give them a number and it just didn't work out. There was some back and forth, including a conversation with his sales manager Oscar - all very civil, without putting me under undue pressure. Even though it ultimately did not work out, I left with the feeling that they would welcome me back. Certainly no hard feelings on my part - hopefully same for them. More

Money grab Tried to trade our old vehicle ( w/c was bought from him as well) to a less expensive one.. so we were downgrading. We were asked to put $2,000 downpa Tried to trade our old vehicle ( w/c was bought from him as well) to a less expensive one.. so we were downgrading. We were asked to put $2,000 downpayment on the Corolla because he said we still have negative equity on the old vehicle. So we backed out and he said he will go talk to the manager and will ask him to remove the downpayment, and the manager approved. How come they did not remove the downpayment in the first place? Coz he knew that we really need to downgrade and we had no choice and he knew that my dad doesn't have that money. I'm really sure he did that on purpose to see if we will grab the bait. Liar! More

Professional & Fun! My dad and I went to Toyota McPhillips and were warmly greeted by Jendrik. I had an idea of what car I wanted to get but I wasn't too sure of it just My dad and I went to Toyota McPhillips and were warmly greeted by Jendrik. I had an idea of what car I wanted to get but I wasn't too sure of it just yet. Jendrik happily showed my dad and I the 2017 Corolla XSE. He was very patient with me as I don't know anything about cars and this purchase was my very first one. He showed me my options and the capabilities of the Corolla. He escorted us to test drive the car and gave us more information about it. He gave his time to us even when my mom arrived late to get her caught up in what's going on. My parents and I are very lucky to have Jendrik as our advisor and at the end of the day, I was very sure I found the right first car for me because of his assistance. He was more than willing to once again show me a car tour right before I drive off with my new car the day I picked it up. He is very professional and fun at the same time. We recommend him 100% to new buyers and in the future when we're ready for another car, he's the first one we'll be contacting for sure! Very very happy! More
