We purchased our first brand new vehicle, a Maverick! Love the truck. We dealt with Rex Tsang. Really good guy. Great, easy going personality. Easy to talk too. We give Rex a 5 out of 5 star rating. We had 4 different invoices and quotes. The actual final cost number was not known until the truck was delivered (had to wait 11 months, but worth it). This is nonsense. What business model entail giving differing numbers over the course of 11 months. Rex warned us that when we paid our initial down payment there might be a price increase, and there was, as we purchased in August 2022 and 2023 rates might apply. Fair enough. Beyond that, there is no reason why the number varied all over the place. There was also a suggestion of a 2nd price increase at the 11 month which we were not warned of. This is bad optics. The invoice also did not have enough room for all of the purchase options. This is the 21st century. It's not hard nor expensive to write software that can expand rows when needed and provide enough character spaces to properly describe the option. Sheesh, McAlpine Ford. Why are you hamstringing your customers and sales reps like that? Not cool. It was starting to leave a sour taste. Fortunately, that all changed when we finally received our truck. Over the moon happy with it. You won't go wrong with Rex, just be prepared for financial accounting done on a 20th century computer. More
