I don't like to leave bad reviews but I feel I need others to know about my experience with this Honda dealership. I went in for my appointment to have my car appraised for trade in. I wanted to know w others to know about my experience with this Honda dealership. I went in for my appointment to have my car appraised for trade in. I wanted to know what I would get for it. Yes, my car is older but it is in good shape and has been very well cared for. My mechanic is awesome. Another dealership I went to earlier in the day told me as much. I arrived early for my appointment and had to wait. That's fine. I was early. I answered the questions asked about the history of the vehicle and they took my keys. I waited outside near the vehicle for the appraisal. I was out there for 10 minutes or so before I heard the horn (alarm) beep on the car. This seems to be normal for them to find the vehicle in the parking lot. Never thought much of it. I waited like 10 to 15 more minutes and the sales guy came out saying they had numbers for me. In the back of my mind I felt like something was off but went inside. I was immediately told that my vehicle is junk and is unsafe. That there are holes in the quarter panel. It took me a bit to process this as it was a shock. I am 100% certain that if my car was unsafe, my mechanic would not let me drive it. Honda would not give me anything for my vehicle so the price of the vehicle I was looking at remained the same. Then the sales guy tells me that Honda will still take my vehicle. Um wait a minute. You just told me that my vehicle was unsafe and junk, but now you want me to just give it to you? For free?? I couldn't get out of there fast enough. When I got in my car, I realized why I felt like something was off. They did not even look at my car! How can you appraise something without even looking at it? When I got home I looked at the quarter panel, there are no holes. Yes there is some surface rust but the vehicle is almost 14 years old. I am so upset that I will never EVER buy from them. I feel like they saw an easy target being a woman. I know my vehicle. I wanted to share this because I don't want them to take advantage of anyone else. More

I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership during my lease buyout process. Instead of following Ontario law, which allows me to obtain a Safety Standards Certificate (SSC) from any licensed Dr during my lease buyout process. Instead of following Ontario law, which allows me to obtain a Safety Standards Certificate (SSC) from any licensed DriveON inspection station, they insisted that I must pay for the safety inspection at their dealership as part of their “policy.” When I questioned this, they were dismissive and refused to process my buyout unless I agreed to their terms. This felt like an unfair and unnecessary attempt to charge me extra fees. I left the dealership feeling disrespected and pressured, instead of supported as a loyal Honda customer. Lease buyouts should be a straightforward process — not a way for dealers to force customers into paying inflated costs. I expected professionalism and transparency, but unfortunately, I received neither. I hope management reviews these practices and treats future customers with more honesty and respect. More
