We went to an onsite sale with 5+ different dealerships. Our original intentions were to purchase a used Terrain, Ram or Caravan. We felt that the salesmen we spoke with at the other dealerships were high p Our original intentions were to purchase a used Terrain, Ram or Caravan. We felt that the salesmen we spoke with at the other dealerships were high pressure, and offering us vehicles out of our price range etc. Some salesmen were even interacting with other customers while they were showing us vehicles, which was irritating. I'm not easily influenced by sales pressure and we waked away from 3 other dealerships that we could have potentially purchased from. We finally checked out London City Chrysler, and met Rob Pharand. He was low pressure, asked us what we wanted and showed us whatever we wanted. Rob was the ideal sales rep for us. We looked at many different vehicles, he let us test drive whatever we wanted. We were interested in a quad cab dodge ram, which I was kind of set on. After Rob found out we had two kids, he explained the cab sizes to us which we overlooked at every dealership. Quad cabs were no good for kids in the back, he was exactly right way too small! Although this wasn't the vehicle for us, he told us to test drive one of the hemi rams anyways, just so we could experience it and not rule it out totally. Not the practical vehicle for us - but will 100% be my next vehicle purchase. We then began looking at the 2013 Journey, he showed us all the different models and he found the perfect practical fit to replace our aging mini van. We worked out a deal, he was able to get us some extras in the price range we wanted and couldn't be happier. Rob was more than happy to answer all our "stupid" questions after we left via email which was perfect. He was even responding after hours which was above and beyond. Basically Rob is the man - we'll be in the position in the next couple years to replace our other vehicle and have no doubts that we'll be coming to see Rob at London City Chrysler. The saleswoman, Jasmine Vegso, was very welcoming and pleasant. She was very knowledgable of the type of vehicle I wanted to buy. We started off by visiting the dealer ship to just get some prices and see if there were any vehicles we were interested in as we have never owned a dodge before. From experiences at another dodge dealer the sales man basically wanted nothing to do with us based on us telling him that we were just looking for information. Rob took the time to show us vehicles get us prices and we even had some good laughs all this and he knew we were not going to purchase that day or even find something we liked that dodge offered. That left a lasting impression for my wife and I. We returned to the dealer short time later we had decided on a vehicle the first visit Rob was off that day we test drove vehicle we wanted and asked if they could find one with options we wanted we figured we could go back another day when Rob was working. After a day or so we headed back Rob was not working again and he wasn't in the next day either (some bad luck!) we didn't want Rob to miss out on a sale just because he was off we had a sales manager check out the vehicle we wanted and we spoke to him about Rob and he ensured that he would have the sale and he would be there when we picked up the car. After all that he did the delivery with us on our pick up date and we were again very pleased. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and made it a good experience for first time buyer. More
