Not as smooth as we hoped The vehicle selection and the negotiation process was fine. We purchased our used truck (with a van trade in)on a Tuesday to be picked up on the foll The vehicle selection and the negotiation process was fine. We purchased our used truck (with a van trade in)on a Tuesday to be picked up on the following Saturday. On Saturday, we arrived and the truck was "ready to go". Unfortunately, the ownership was not completed and the sales person placed our old van plates on the truck?? We questioned this as we have purchased several vehicles including trucks and we've always picked up the vehicle with the completed paperwork and new plates. It was all fine. We were to come back the following Monday for the paperwork. Called on Monday, paperwork was ready. When husband arrived, it was the wrong customer...a mix up. Husband returned later that day. We were right, The truck needed new plates and we were charge another $100 (even though, we negotiated a final price with all fees in). Husband asked for the old van plates (to receive a credit, sticker expired May 2017) but was told that dealership kept them. I went on-line and email the sales person (copied and pasted) the info when it says, we can return the plates for a credit or refund. Picked up the plates the next day. It was a frustrating experience for us. More
