Not only did he listen to what I wanted in a car, but he didn't even "push" me into a sale. He made every attempt to make sure the car I wanted was exactly what I got. Every question or concern I had, he was able to answer or put me at ease. His knowledge of the Kia car family was impeccable and his knowledge on the competition was remarkable. In Blake's absence, Michael helped me with the test drive of one of the vehicles on the lot. Even though I was working with Blake, Michael was more than happy to help me and answer any questions I had. The purchase of my new car went just as smooth as the test drive, no hassle, no pressure. Blake made every attempt to locate my car and get it to me as soon as possible. And believe me, it came fast. Heather helped me with all of the finances. She was so kind and courteous and made signing all the paperwork as painless as possible. I would certainly recommend Kia of Newmarket to anyone in the market for a new or even used car! More

We went in thinking we couldn't afford a Sportage, and she showed us that driving a vehicle with a higher safety rating would bring our insurance costs way down. We walked out with a brand new Sportage, and we've saving $10 per month!! Jen was professional, engaging, knowledgeable and hysterically funny. She made us very comfortable, worked around my crazy schedule, fed my children hot chocolate, and even decorated my car because we took delivery on my birthday. We will never go to another dealership, or another salesperson for that matter. Jen was amazing!!!!!! More

I was interested in buying a KIA for many reasons , especially because the qualities of the vehicle fit my lifestyle. I decided to give it a go and head to the newmarket KIA dealership. I had visited the dealership roughly a year before and at that time i remembered how friendly everyone was. My current experience with all the employees was amazing. I mostly dealt with Michael Bartley and Helen Li. Michael , from my understanding is a more recent addition to the dealership, but he was fantastic. He made myself and my dad, who i brought with me, feel very comfortable . He was extremely thorough and did everything possible to make our experience satisfying and meaningful. I highly recommend asking for Michael if you decide to pop in. You will be very pleased. Helen was also amazing, she answered every question possible and was also very very thorough. Elaine was the other employee that initially worked with Michael to help us out. She was also fantastic, and when i went back in to pick up my car a few days later, she remembered who i was and was very friendly and inviting. All staff were extremely friendly and inviting! They make you feel like they have known you a while! Overall I couldn't ask for a better experience with purchasing my first vehicle. GREAT EXPERIENCE! More

Best car buying experience...EVER! ...thanks to Rob! We went in last fall and spoke to Rob re: a future purchase. Although we fully admitted he would be getting no business from us at that time, he still We went in last fall and spoke to Rob re: a future purchase. Although we fully admitted he would be getting no business from us at that time, he still took the time to go through all the models we were interested in so we had a better idea of what Kia offered, and what would fit our needs when the time came. Fast forward 6 months later and we were pleasantly greeted by Rob once again. Again, he went through the models we had narrowed it down to, took us on numerous (4) test drives, and took the time to explain what the differences were between vehicles, the various features and how they all worked. When it came down to the numbers we were told that there is no "wheeling and dealing", the price is the price and that is that. It was explained to us that this is so that everybody knows the price does not depend on how forceful they are, or how good they are at talking someone down. In layman's terms, so you don't feel screwed when you walk out. To be perfectly honest, we had looked everywhere, and they were the cheapest for the vehicle we bought, by about $750. It had low kms for the year which left us with a healthy balance of the factory warranty. Out of any major purchase we have made, car, house etc, this was by far the best, and the only one we have actually walked away from happy, feeling like we got our money's worth and that it was well spent. Our previous buying experience, at another dealership, for another brand was exactly what you would expect it to be. More "what colour would you like little lady?", and "kick the tires there big boy". Needless to say we had walked in very wary, with our guard up, and definitely armed with a lot of knowledge. Everyone we spoke to from the front desk staff, service staff, Rob, Jay, Helen, Elaine EVERYBODY was friendly, and not in the "used car salesman" kind of way. They were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and if there was some detail they were unsure of, they admitted it. We didn't feel like we were being given a line, and they were always quick to get us an answer that they were sure of. On the 1 day out of our 5 different visits that Rob was not there Jay was extremely helpful. The day we made our purchase we had to bring our active 2yr old, and we were never made to feel like she was a bother. Rob was extremely helpful when we had to unexpectedly move up our delivery day with only 3hrs notice. Our after delivery questions were always answered promptly by Rob and fully explained. We came from an '05, so a lot has changed in the features. Every experience we had at this dealership was absolutely positive. I spent the week we were looking approaching complete strangers with Kias asking them if they liked there car, where they bought it, how was their sales experience, how is the service etc etc. Not once did New Roads Kia get a bad review from anyone, and this was from 5 separate people with a combination of buying new/used, and all of them had bought/serviced at New Roads Kia. Bottom line, Rob was awesome, our whole family (including our 2 young kids), felt very welcome at the dealership. It is an amazing atmosphere and we would highly recommend coming here for a new or used vehicle. We will definitely be coming back. More

I work full time at a local auto supplier, but with a mortgage and everyday expenses increasing, I don't have much left over to spend on myself. Helen was very thorough in explaining all possible financial situations, presenting many scenarios, and even got a .5% lower interest rate :-) My trade-in had to be towed in the day before I was to pick up the Kia Forte, and everyone there was only concerned that I was okay and safe. There was a photo session with the new car, KIa staff and two "Men in Black" chipmunks - I'm not good with having my picture taken, but it turned out okay. Then I drove home in a snowstorm with no trouble at all. I have been recommending Kia to everyone, and making sure they all know where Kia of Newmarket is located. More

I did excessive research to know exactly what I wanted and was on the defensive when entering other dealerships, but that wasn't my experience with the Kia of Newmarket dealership. My initial contact with the sales person, Rob Sheldowich, was very good. He was polite, friendly and patient with me as I asked numerous questions. He spoke to me plainly and helped me feel comfortable in the dealership and kindly ran back and forth doing numerous price inquiries. After a few test drives and even more questions we settled on my new purchase of a 2013 Kia Rio Lx. He was very informative of the next stages of going through the financing and costings so I felt prepared when I was greeted by Helen Li and kindly shown into her office where we got down to business. Throughout the dealings I had both Rob and Helen check in with me through phone calls and e-mails updating me on the status of my financing and making sure I still felt secure. This made me feel very comfortable and like they valued my business. I picked up my car and got the low down on all the cool features of the vehicle, which Rob seemed extremely excited to show me and even helped me pick my radio presets without judgement of the country stations. My entire experience from first walking into the dealership to driving away was a 10 and I am extremely satisfied as a customer and as a person with the treatment I received from the entire staff at Kia of Newmarket.
