I purchased a brand new 2016 Kia Soul from the Kia Richmond dealership and drove it off their lot in May 2017. It was one year old but brand new with 74k test driven kms on it only. After 2 years of ownership, it now has just reached 24,000k.
In the two years, I have had to twice bring it in because the panoramic sunroof would not close. Each time the solution was to grease it. Two weeks ago, during a heavy rain, water leaked in the front passenger cabin area along the bar between the windshield and the door, run down to soak the passenger side floor carpet. Even though the GM assured me he would oversee and make sure the car was repaired properly under warranty, in the two weeks I heard not a word regarding the progress. Also the GM suggested it was either fix it or put me in a brand new 2020 model. When I called to speak to the GM today, it was suggested, that I might have had the windshield replaced due to an accident or rock chip and that the ICBC records should be checked. Of course, the windshield is the same one that I drive off the lot with. What I don’t understand is why I’m getting the run around. Right now I’m not in the position, with this situation and previous dealings with this dealership since I purchased this vehicle, to either recommend them or want to ever purchase another vehicle from them , even though I love this car, or go back to them once I get my car back if there is another problem to deal with.

Gurvir was such an honest and motivated salesman- he would do anything to make you happy with your purchase! Although young, he was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and exceptional at what he does. I trust his opinion and enjoyed working with him. James was able to give us an honest but great deal on some outside the box options we weren't originally thinking of, and worked with us to make sure we were comfortable using a low pressure sales approach. Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful with finding the right car for us! We were looking at the hybrids and PHEVs, and lucked out at their VIP Customer Appreciation event.
