I had a very disappointing experience with Kia 417 regarding the A/C system in my 2019 Kia Sorento. In June 2025, I paid Kia 417 for a diagnostic because of an A/C problem. I was told that the cond regarding the A/C system in my 2019 Kia Sorento. In June 2025, I paid Kia 417 for a diagnostic because of an A/C problem. I was told that the condenser had been impacted and was leaking, and that the condenser needed to be replaced. We did not pursue the matter immediately afterward because my wife and I were both quite sick and simply weren't in a position to deal with it. Eventually, I had the vehicle assessed and repaired elsewhere. The other repair facility replaced the A/C compressor, humidity sensor, and rear A/C seals. This raised serious questions for me about the accuracy of Kia 417's original diagnosis. I contacted Kia 417 and asked them to reconsider the diagnostic charge. Their response was essentially that because another shop later performed different repairs, that does not prove their technician was wrong, and that because more than a year had passed, they would not refund the diagnostic fee. What I find particularly frustrating is that Kia 417 continues to stand behind the original diagnosis without, as far as I have been provided, convincing evidence that the condenser was actually the source of the problem. If a customer pays for a diagnostic, I expect the diagnosis to accurately identify the problem—not simply recommend replacement of an expensive component. I understand that a diagnosis can sometimes be wrong. What I find unacceptable is the unwillingness to seriously reconsider the diagnosis when subsequent repairs point in a different direction. Based on my experience, I would be very reluctant to rely on Kia 417 for diagnosing an A/C problem, and I would recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs based on their diagnosis. I went to this place to purchase used expensive suv . Sales staff Julian was very helpful as was Lukas on the day we were able to pick up the car after Service Canada delays. However on our second visit to get the car we did not do a walk around and when we g day we were able to pick up the car after Service Canada delays. However on our second visit to get the car we did not do a walk around and when we got back to Kemptville we saw a long scratch on the divers back door and the fender. I have a picture of the day we made the down payment and I can take a picture as it is now..We only drove it to the garage where we getting it certified.
