When we inspected your vehicle for the brake noise, we found that both the front and rear pads were worn down to metal-on-metal, which meant not only brake pads but also new rotors were required for safe and reliable operation. There are indeed many different brands and quality levels available, which explains why quotes can vary widely. At our dealership, we use parts that meet manufacturer standards and carry warranty coverage, ensuring safety, performance, and peace of mind. While less expensive alternatives exist, they may not provide the same quality or guarantees. We’re sorry to hear you're dissatisfied, but we want to clarify a few important points. All of our vehicles go through a thorough inspection process at the time of safety certification to ensure they meet all required standards prior to delivery. You took delivery of your vehicle in March 2025, over six months ago, with both an extended warranty and Kia’s basic oil change package included. Since you have not returned to our dealership for any service, we cannot verify the $1,000 service bill you're referencing. If that work was done elsewhere or involved optional services outside your coverage, we unfortunately cannot speak to that. It's also important to note that vehicle maintenance needs can vary significantly based on how the car is driven and used. Some customers may require service sooner than others depending on driving habits, mileage, and conditions. That variability makes it impossible for us to guarantee specific service timelines or needs. Regarding your mention of a “coerced” review, we do request feedback after the sale, but at no point do we force or require a positive review. If you felt uncomfortable, that’s not reflective of how we operate, and we take that seriously. We stand behind our process and are committed to transparency before, during, and after the sale.

I was resistant to service package at the time of purchase and was reassured repeatedly that it was of high value. I was clearly told it would be transferrable to any Kia dealership - which although eventually proven true, turned out to be an extraordinarily onerous process- I called the service dept at Kia 417 multiple times in advance of the service call at the other dealership after being told I was misinformed about the transferability of the package (eventually resolved), and again today during the service to confirm whether the recommended service items were needed - they were. My car had not had any of the recommended services including some that would seemingly have been due before sale - the air and cabin filters had never been changed - fluids in two systems were overdue for a flush and replacement- the brakes required service. My ‘high value package’ covered exactly $100 of a $1200 bill. I know cost of living is high, but most would agree that this is rather a lot for a ‘routine service’ of a recently purchased vehicle with a ‘high-value’ service package. Within minutes of the sale last March - I was strongly encouraged to make a Google review in the presence of the sales person (who was admittedly charming) I realize this is not coercion per se, but it was certainly incredibly socially awkward to not follow through, I will concede that my aggravation is compounded by the fact that I was not able to edit the review later, leading me to write this one on another platform. I said at the time of purchase that it felt very high pressure- my experience since has not diminished this feeling - my emotions were high during the initial review above but I stand by my overall experience- I feel sincerely that I’m being promised one thing and delivered another.
