"So just returned from a 45-minute trek from the eastside..."

So just returned from a 45-minute trek from the eastside to test drive a used vehicle from this location. I looked at the reviews of this dealership beforehand and based on the numerous 5 stars I thought that this place would be a great place to purchase my vehicle. Normally my family purchases their vehicles from Brimell Toyota but despite their advice, I thought I would give this place a shot. Unfortunately, this place did not live up to their reviews. Yesterday 2 hours before my scheduled appointment they called to reschedule me, which I understood and appreciated the advanced notice. Today 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment their salesman Bob called me to ask if I can come an hour later and called it a "courtesy call" as if he was doing me a favor by giving me a heads up that they can meet me for an already re-scheduled time. Worst yet, after rescheduling he calls me again to tell me the car that I have been looking to buy was sold 30 minutes before. The funny thing was that there were two of them posted for sale ("both recently sold earlier today"), and coincidentally there were now two later models of the same vehicle available for 5k extra that was not posted anywhere. Sounds like a good ol bait and switch to me. Well, now I've driven 45 minutes to take a look at a car that wasn't even there after being rescheduled twice. Now to be fair, there are covid-restrictions and a reduced capacity of people in the showroom. So granted let's take that into account. But for them to call me 5 minutes before my scheduled time to reschedule me an hour later and also tell me that the vehicle I've traveled to see was no longer available (as of who knows when) leads me to conclude that it is either administrative incompetence or sleazy business tactics. Regardless of the intent, both these possibilities lead me to believe that this place should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the headache, and if you're coming from as far as I am save yourself the travel and head to Brimell Toyota if you're coming from the eastside. My family bought 2 vehicles from this location and have never dealt with the runaround that I've gone through these last couple of days. The moral of the stories kids; listen to your parents and go to a dealership they trust.

Was very helpful when I leased my vehicle he wasn’t even the sales representative and went of his way to assist me provide me with details and followed up w all of my concerns. Made me feel like a customer and not just a number! Amazing and I hope everyone is able to the quality of service I’ve received each time I’ve gone into the dealership ever since !!!!!!

Worst service I have ever received took five months to receive the part and was then charged more than originally quoted. Service took 1.25 hours and was charged for two. 800$ to fix a horn is absolutely ridiculous and not having a horn for five months was extremely dangerous. Never going back.

Toyota Canada underwent a major systems transformation and thus all dealerships across Canada had major delays receiving their ordered parts. You are correct, the service did take 1.25 hours because we had two technicians working on your vehicle to get the repair done faster. Rather than charging you for TWO technicians at the 1.25 labour rate, it was cheaper to stick to the original quote of 2 hours. Mark Hardyal, your service advisor, tried to help you out by discounting the parts needed to fix your horn. We are sorry you are unhappy with our service. Danny Jamal, General Manager

I had purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla a year ago at Ken Shaw and I was so excited and happy with my car. I was already impressed with the great service and follow-up from Tony Lawrence (sales) and the service department with my check-up appointment. Early July 2018, I was rear-ended by another car and I was devastated with the damage to my car. I did not doubt in taking the car to Ken Shaw's Collision Center and I do not regret it. Paul Downer immediately assessed my car and walked me through the process to deal with my insurance. I had the car rental waiting for me outside, and I was reassured that my car would be repaired to Toyota standards with lifetime warranty. Today, I came to pick up my car and I was not disappointed. I met Vince who worked on the paint, and he took the time to answer my questions and go over the work done on my car. Ian polished my car making sure it was washed and vacuumed properly, and my car was waiting for me inside the shop all shiny and clean. Lawrence also came by to answer my questions and go over the work completed. Paul was my main contact throughout my ordeal, and he was always helpful providing me with updates on my car status. He immediately came by to greet me and present me with the final product. Tony, my sales contact when I had purchased my car, also called me a few weeks back to check-in. It's those details that make Ken Shaw such a high caliber dealership that truly care about the customer. I should also mention the convenience Ken Shaw provides customers. I had Ken, Ken Shaw's Toyota shuttle driver, waiting for me at Runnymede station to take me to the dealership to pick-up my car. They make it so easy for customers and it's one less stressful issue to deal with. I'm VERY appreciative and I want to thank everyone at Ken Shaw!

"Love my Toyota Matrix"

I recently took my 2011 Toyota Matrix to Ken Shaw Lexus Toyota Service Department for what I thought might be a major problem. I first was greeted by Teresa Milewska who entered all the information required by the service department. She is very friendly and informative person and a credit to the company, as is Jason MacWilliam the mechanic that found the problem and fixed it. To my delight it was not a huge problem and was fixed promptly. Service is top of the line at Ken Shaw Lexus Toyota. I bought my first Toyota the year they arrived in Canada and the Matrix is my 5th. Several from Chris Jones the best sales representative in the business. It is a pleasure to do business at any level at Ken Shaw Lexus Toyota.

I took my Toyota M which had numerous scratches to Ken Shaw Toyota, for a consultation and estimate on cost, based on one of my friends advise. I met with John, Body shop manager with no hassle, he inspected my car, and provided the best way to fix the problem with affordable cost. The level of work which was done on my car, courtesy and customer service by staff, manager and even shuttle service was beyond my expectation. The price was affordable, and worth every penny. #1, five stars!!

We have a Toyota Prius 2010 whose sunroof membrane has deteriorated (it's a known problem as it's shown on Prius chat website) and they're blaming us for using some chemical on it, to avoid repairing it under warranty. Avoid if you can. (Zoltan himself is ok)

While we understand that your Prius might be in pristine condition otherwise, replacing or repairing certain parts is common for all aging vehicles.
